Here we go, Grandma turned 80 years old. She decided to turn it up by having an all African party. This party was amazing.. Friends and family were everywhere. They came from all over to celebrate. The African attire was breathtaking. We all had a great time. Location on Jericho Tpke you can take either Jericho Tpke straight to the venue, or Northern State parkway is nearby. The venue itself was very festive and bright. Parking was simple. When you enter the building the decor was incredible. Glamorous. Cocktail hour was located on the 2nd floor which I missed. Main party on the 3rd floor. DJ and band was awesome. Hype man which was gma nephew really hyped things up. 5 course meal was served.. champagne, unlimited drinks at the bar. I ordered the beef ribs . To rate I would give it a 6. Meat was a bit rough. But I did enjoy the Miso salmon which was soooo good with the risotto rice. I rate the salmon a 10. Overall the entire party was great until the end . We had oreo cheesecake and cake and unfortunately my cake had a long piece of hair in it. Gross. Then it started to get extremely cold in the venue. This is an AMAZING venue very centrally located that I would highly recommend to anyone needing this type of location. You turn into this driveway and head to the right to park car in one of their truly oversized lots unless there is valet parking. Once parked, head into a very impressive lobby with plenty of people to direct you to your final location. As you drive in you will see the multiple areas they have set up for pictures. The staff here is awesome and the venue itself is nothing short of magnificent. I have been here for every type of event. Weddings, Fundraisers, Corporate events, Governmental events and Educational forums. I have had the honor of being here as both the guest or the photographer. Either way, I was always treated magnificently by the team. The food here is great and the rooms are perfect. Small and large crowds will find it very impressive and extremely easy to navigate. The rooms are set up so nicely with plenty of space and light. The dance floor is also big enough for the largest parties. There is a nice nook for the music with keeps them a bit to the side. Came in for a Sweet Sixteen party. It was very fancy. Jericho terrace has a beautiful entrance with a water fountain. The lobby area is beautiful. There are multiple rooms and they are all very modern. The service was okay the servers were friendly however we asked for more water like 3 times and it never came. The MC was very fun and kept the party going. The churro stand was so delish, the gelato station also yummy, they also had a pretzel and cotton candy stand at the end of the party. The DJ was very good and the bongo player added a nice flair to the party. All in all we had a very nice time!!! read more

The overall space and experience was amazing! The main lobby housed the almost 200 guests in attendance for my friends wedding this past weekend. The wedding area was decorated beautifully, the cocktail hour space was very nice as well, and by the time we moved to the reception hall, I was already convinced it would be as nice as it was! The staff was very friendly, helpful in directing us to and from as there were multiple levels the events took place in. The bathroom was extremely clean, and the attendant was helpful when I needed a safety pin for my dress (as the restroom is stocked with goodies and last minute needs!) Absolutely stunning ambiance from the minute you drive through the gate. Ponds with koi fish swimming around. The staff was extremely helpful. The food for the cocktail hour was plentiful and tasty but then the dinner was even better. The bartender was quick and made drinks that you would never forget that you had great drinks at a wedding. Let me first start out by saying I had a great time at my friends's wedding. But that was expected when you are with all of your friends and other outgoing people and great music from a lively DJ. Unfortunately, I had a few issues with this venue: 1. It is a glorified glass maze with some pretty lighting of a place, with a lack sufficient labeling of rooms. I inadvertently walked into another reception, as the door adjacent to my affair was not distinctly labeled. No one directed me to the coat check and the bathroom when I arrived, in fact the staff was running around like chickens with their heads cut off. 2. Guests and the wedding party shared the same space when taking photos before the ceremony. Luckily the bride and groom are very friendly and didn't seem to mind. I am sure other brides and grooms would want privacy. 3. Cocktail hour food was good, but not great, as some of the salads were watery. Food wasn't replenished, so good luck trying to get food toward the end. Bar service was adequate, just nothing to write home about. 4. Bathrooms: for cocktail hour, I was directed to one that was 2-3 floors down and had to pass by a bridal shower. Luckily, there was a bathroom right outside the party room. Both were clean. 5. I ordered the Garlic Shrimp for dinner, while it was edible, it missed that kick and was paired with soggy asparagus aka their vegetables, and mushy couscous. My husband's chicken Madeira resembled chicken tenders. The highlights of the meal were the Caesar Salad, chocolate chip cookies, and biscotti. Overall, this place is not bad and is a beautiful space, but not spectacular either! read more

I went here for a party and I was blown away by how nice their rooms are . Apparently there are new owners, the food was very good . The staff in the dining room was very attentive but my only complaint was staff in the hallway and lobby were so busy chatting amongst themselves that they didn't care to ask guests who are wondering around outside if they needed something or if they were lost ? My daughter and her husband picked out this venue for their wedding which was on 3/28/25 from the beginning when they first stepped in the lobby they were so excited and with open arms Anthony greeted them with a big smile and everyone else was so nice from Edgar, Michael, Omar, Kayla and Kimberly and the greeter Emily. They were married in their gorgeous Chapel. All the service attendants at the cocktail hour to the reception everyone was superb.The food was amazing delicious all of the guests were very happy couldn't believe how much food was provided and have not stop talking about how much fun they had at the wedding. Beautiful venue and great location. Came here for a wedding during the day time. There was another wedding going on at the same time and the venue was just perfect for a medium sized celebration. We were in a beautiful room for the ceremony. Lots of natural lights even though it was a rainy day. We then moved to another area for reception. Food was good and there was a wide selection from cold cuts, seafood, meat to fruits. The main hall for the sit down meal was nice and intimate. Entrees portion was huge but the salmon I had wasn't too fresh. Loved the cannoli which was stuffed with chocolate and vanilla ice cream instead of cream. I finished the entire dessert! We just had our daughter's wedding at Jericho Terrace, on December 3, 2023. I only gave a 5-star rating, because a 10-star rating is not an option. I couldn't have wished for a better outcome. Everything was fantastic!!! Courtney, the Maitre'd, and staff were superb. Courtney exceeded what I expected, and I expected perfection. The food, the service, was tops. Jericho Terrace is in a class by itself, and provided our daughter, and son-in-law, along with the wedding guests the very best, and for that, I want to thank everyone, especially Courtney, who made this event flawless. Firstly, I would like to say that Jericho Terrace is an amazing place. We booked the terrace garden for our cocktail hour and were told when being shown it by Michael that it was remodeled by the new ownership. The space is breathtaking with lots of natural lighting that resonates into the room. We already booked the Initial ceremony at our church, but loved their new chapel that they also built new. My little sister just got engaged and she said she would probably do her ceremony in the chapel and she loved the penthouse room to reduce her Fiancé's family from traveling all over on her day. Every one of our guests had a table to sit and enjoyed the hour and I was thrilled to be able to attend it along with my husband. The staff was super helpful and guided me, my mom, bridesmaids and my sisters throughout the night, making it smooth and effortless perfectly. We loved the amazing choices that we picked and the opportunity to mingle with our guests. The hallway lobby is super cool with a grand piano and an elevator which was perfect spot for taking cool pictures. The room we chose was breathtaking, with high ceilings and beautiful architectural design, which made it look like we got married in the White House. The outside even has a fireplace where my dad had some cigars and got to enjoy them with his friends. We also took pictures outside which they have a great set up for that. Our head Maître Jared took very good care of everything and staff was attentive and made sure that we had a memorable experience. It was a night that we couldn't forget, and unlike other weddings that I've been to, it didn't seem like it was going by fast. In fact, it felt like the longest night of my life, and I enjoyed every bit of it. Our main courses were delicious, and we even came back for the New Year's event, which was spectacular. I would like to give a special thanks to Chris, the Director of guest services, who came through with a couple of Band-Aids as I was dancing all night with my husband but my new heels weren't the best choice that night. Step right up to the wedding factory! Careful pulling in because you might hit a wedding party taking pictures. After valet seamlessly takes your vehicle you arrive on the left. The ushers tell you where the room is, but odds are you'll get confused and have to ask a few times. Cocktail hour was strange. Many stations, infact there was an ice luge which was not manned at anytime. The line was long and none of the food was anything fantastic, but good enough. There were barely enough tables and you could hear the party in the room over. Waitstaff crossed the back room to get to other rooms. Soon we were ushered to a different room for the reception. A good lighting system and about a quarter of the room had high ceilings. The music was so loud it was distorted. The food was meh. I had the duck and it was soggy. The bathroom was three floors down and shared with all parties. If you don't mind having multiple parties going on, then this venue may suit you. read more

It's not every day that you find yourself in an elegant situation. This ain't no Disney movie over here with castles and princesses and all that jazz. But when the time comes to do something prestigious, Jericho Terrace has got you covered. I was extremely happy to be at JT to celebrate my long time friend Matthew K.'s wedding day. This was only my second time at the Terrace, but the last one was so long ago (11 years?) that I don't remember much. Being in the bridal party also helped in getting a little extra insight into everything Jericho Terrace has to offer. There is a classical, contemporary feel to the place when you first walk in. The lobby-esque area is elegant and welcoming, for the most part. So was the staff which you really want when throwing a big event (like a wedding). They were on top of things throughout the evening and even delivered us some hors d'oeuvres to snack on while taking pics outside. Later on, I found myself and most of the bridal party up in the bridal suite. It was a nice, little room that had liquor, beer, and some food waiting for us. The view isn't anything special (unless you have a desire to look at Jericho Turnpike), but keep the blinds closed and you'll be good. That and I did end up having to exterminate about 4 or 5 flies in the room. Even so, it was a lovely place to chill until cocktail hour. When the aforementioned hour was ready to rev up, we headed down into a gorgeous room that was a little dark when first entering, but gave way to this rustic, "outdoors" feel/area. There was so much food to choose from it was tough to decide what to chow down on. Honestly I missed out on a lot due to nerves (I was giving a speech later on). From what I did try, it was a tasty starting hour. The actual room of the reception was spacious and set up with tables on each side, dance floor in the center. Plenty of fun ensued and my speech went well (despite a few microphone malfunctions) so that's a plus. I then had an appetite again and was able to mostly enjoy my dinner. Some hummus and veggies, salad, penne, the main course (manicotti for me), and dessert made up the meal with almost everything being of quality. From that and everything else it was a fun filled evening. Overall, Jericho Terrace created a lovely, elegant, and fun setting for Matthew K.'s wedding. A close-to-perfect experience and one worthy of 4.5 stars (just can't give em that last push). Either way, if/when the time comes for myself to tie the knot I'd surely consider Jericho Terrace. Everybody waits a lifetime for the wedding, and Jericho Terrace made sure to give me a wedding we will never forget- none for which are positive reasons. We were greeted in the bridal suite with a small meat/cheese plate for 25 people and impossible to get a drink faster than 20 mins. After the ceremony- I and the groom returned back to the bridal suite and had 6 chafing dishes waiting for us (2 which I am highly allergic too and made the hall aware of my allergies prior to the event) - thankfully my MOH went downstairs faster than the bridal attendants to bring us a couple of plates from cocktail hour. My husband and the groomsmen are avid whiskey drinkers, so we made sure to request the specific whiskey in OUR CONTRACT. When he asked for a glass, the bridal attendant informed us that the bartender said "we don't have that and he will drink what I give him". In shock, we bring this up to the maitre d' who informed us it was a "miscommunication" but they still do not have it. The bartender came downstairs to apologize and said they will send someone out to purchase some- to only come back with one bottle. Now I hate to be nit-picky, but one bottle for 10 groomsmen lasted a whole hour. We had countless complaints from our guests/bridal party about how servers and bartenders were rude, refused to serve them. One guest requested a vegetarian meal which was on our menu and was told she cannot have that as it's unavailable- yet another guest has no problem ordering it with a different server. A couple of our bridesmaids waited in line for a drink, once they announced for the guests to start slowly making their way to the ceremony, the bartender told them they were not allowed to have a drink and he is "closed". When the girls said they understand the doors are opening but they were the last ones online, the bartender told him "I said no". During our reception the espresso machine/station, it was caught on fire and none of the staff noticed- two of my guests put it out. The room was filled with smoke causing some guests to leave who had asthma and others who stayed had the lovely pleasure of cleaning back soot out of their noses (including a pregnant woman). Once I informed the maitre d' how upset I was the whole time, his only response was "it's all ok, I love ya!". Aside from being very difficult to work with and just an ass the whole day, this careless attitude truly shows how much of a wedding factor Jericho terrace really is. The staff does is there for a paycheck and not there to ensure you as a bride/groom are truly having the best day possible. What was the tipping point for me occurred the following day. We picked up our belongings the following day. I come home to open my Tupperware contains to find my belongings are broken. Prior to the wedding I have dropped off all my decorative belongings in all the original boxes/wrapped, protective wrapping and labeled. The staff took it upon themselves to throw away those boxes, including the remotes from the candles that was left in the packages and just sweep all my belongings into the Tupperware containers. My replaceable ceremony unity candles, the stands they were on, and the cake-toppers were broken (pictures will be attached below). I could have overlooked everything that went wrong during the actual wedding but seeing my broken belongings broke my heart to the core; as these were irreplaceable objects. The moral of the story is, I do not wish anyone to experience a wedding day that I had because of Jericho terrace.  After I brought my grievances to the managers and "board of directors" we were offered a tiny refund if we signed an NDA. After paying for a legal representative to look at it, we declined for the simple fact that we never want someone else to fall into their smoke and mirrors trap. A wedding is supposed to be one of the most special days in someone's life but unfortunately, Jericho just cares about lining their pockets and not delivering the experience they advertise. read more

Jericho Terrace is a beautiful venue with a decent staff & great food. The value is amazing for what you get & the location is ideal. Both of us are both large event planners, so having our wedding here would help minimize planning needed. Now that our wedding has passed, we have been able to look back & see how we were misled by all the glitter. Starting with the good, what really matters guests: From their perspective, everything was perfect & seamless, besides the cluttered hallway & mayhem in the shared spaces (see below). The food was great & nearly everything went off without a hitch. The venue was accommodating (ONLY DAY OF) & the people running our party did a nice job. Attendants were a nice touch & really helped keep our heads on tight. Now for the bad... We booked March 2020, start of the pandemic. As the spread/shutdown worsened, we, like everyone else, were unsure what our wedding would look like. After a discussion with our Account Executive, Rob, we found that the venue was not willing to work with us in any way & that we had no choice but to "stay true" to our payment schedule or we would lose our date. This is where the poor taste of the business side of JT started to develop. Our pre-covid guarantee was 175 people (kids/vendors 1/2 price). Of course, the pandemic would affect numbers & left us with 149A, 3K, & 4V. To make up for lost value, JT gave us 2 small items, $6 pp in value. It was nice to get something, but when we asked for a $2 add-on, we were never given an answer. We did our part & "stayed true to our payments" in the midst of a pandemic, but that didn't matter, as long as they got their money. 2 months out, we scheduled a tasting/review. When we showed up, we tasted food, but that was it; nothing discussed. The food was all the same stuff we tried when we had booked; not worth making a 2 hour ride for lunch. We asked what our next steps would be & were told we'd be assigned a coordinator 10 days out from our wedding & they would advise us. Now to misleading sales tactics: Venue was said to host 3 events a day, MAX. Events were said to be scattered throughout the day on different floors & we would very rarely see or hear other parties. This was the BIGGEST LIE & most upsetting. There were 5/6 events going on AT THE SAME TIME & the hall/entrance ways were like a circus. Can't tell you how many photos we've seen with other party guests in it; not what was promised. Additionally, we're still in a PANDEMIC, so many of our guests were uncomfortable being exposed to those that weren't tested. What makes it worse? Our ceremony room was above another party playing loud music, so we were able to hear thumping music while the ceremony was going on. Our vow mics picked up everything... The best part! The venue/our AE had forgotten about our wedding. Just over a month out, we started reaching out to him via email to see what the next steps were & never heard back. Less than a month out, another email, phone message or two. Still nothing. Few weeks out, same thing, nothing. Finally, we called 8 DAYS before our wedding & demanded we talk to someone. We were finally connected with our AE, who played it off as normal. It was their mistake & everything worked out, it just added to the pre-wedding stress. When it came time to take photos, because of all of the parties going on, we were rushed around to take shots in places where we wouldn't bump into other parties. Pretty much outside & near our room were our only options. We really liked the idea of the arrivals lounge since everyone in our party was traveling. It was said to have snacks/drinks all morning/afternoon leading up to the party & that there may be a few other people from other parties in & out. I had stopped in to grab a bite pre-wedding & there was nothing available. I had to make a stink about it just to get our guests refreshments. Also, a majority of seats were taken by other parties guests, so ours had to leave the room to be comfortable. Last thing was dessert. During our discussions & tastings, we were told that dessert would consist of a slice of our wedding cake & 2 other gourmet accompaniments (tiramisu cup, chocolate, cheesecake, etc.). What we got on ours was our not so great wedding cake & someone else's not so great wedding cake. Not what was sold to us. Currently, we are missing hundreds of $ worth of items (lanterns, votives, misc.). The answer we got, our guests took them. We know this is not true & just used as a scapegoat. More than likely they were thrown out during room turnover. Alas, Jericho Terrace is just a wedding factory that pushes out as many parties as possible, especially now. Not a bad thing, but everything is cookie cutter & handled the same. If you are looking for a venue that offers a wedding in a box with added stress, this is the place for you. If not, I suggest you look elsewhere. read more

Let me first say.. this is a beautiful venue. The ambiance was great and there was so much food that the guests left pretty happy. My reason for the 2-star review is purely because of service and staff. We had gone over the program and timing for the wedding with the staff and maitre'd. This was mostly followed but due to confusion, the dinner wasn't served until almost 9!! (We had the venue from 6-11. First hour being cocktail hour, then moved to the main ballroom for dinner and reception) There was also a garden outside that we were not allowed to take pictures at until 30 mins. prior to the start of our reception -- this seemed ridiculous but I guess they were trying to squeeze in as many weddings as they could. They require cash payments which was strange for such a large amount of money to be spending. The one piece I really found offensive was that they didn't tell me until the day of the reception that they REQUIRED a cash tip to the maitre'd. I understand wanting to have a decent tip for services performed but DEMANDING this from the bride during the reception is just poor form! They should have been up front with this when discussing payment! The lack of professionalism of the staff also irritated me. We were naive enough not to lock our card box and found out a week later that 10+ cards were stolen from the box. Although we can't say for a certainty who stole those cards, we can say that those we invited were all close friends and family... so the likelihood that it was a member of the staff is much higher. Overall, the location is beautiful despite having to share the venue at the same time as another wedding. The food (for us) was pretty decent -- many guests commented that they did appreciate the quantity and quality (you can only really do so well with catered food). The service was just something that even as all this time has passed, I can't forget how disappointed I was with it. read more

My beautiful bride and I married at Jericho Terrace (JT) this past October. From our perspective, the folks at JT got pretty much everything exactly right. And our guests universally seem to agree. We could not be happier with our JT experience! The venue is lovely; the staff super professional with excellent customer service skills; and the food simply excellent. We want to give special shout outs to Anthony P. (our Account Manager), Francisco Z. (our Maître d), Sophia L. (our Wedding Planner/Coordinator), and two particularly heroic individuals: Justin and Astrid (our Attendants). These folks all "went the extra mile" and did so with grace and kindness. They say no wedding goes off without a hitch, but I can't think of any hitch at ours. Even so, had anything gone wrong, I am sure the folks at JT would have handled it. As a final note, the "Viennese Hour" is a showstopper. Nobody will go hungry without it, but it's guaranteed to make jaws drop and eyes pop. read more

Too. Many. Stairs. There's a refreshment area that serves coffee before the ceremony, down 2 flights of stairs. Coat check, down another flight of stairs. Downstairs bathroom, another flight of stairs. Cocktail hour and the actual event room, yep you've got it...More stairs. The entire venue is stunning, though. Gorgeous set-up and we had the dome room which was an extra treat. The room next door seemed more spacious but the dome is definitely more appropriate for a wedding. The food was terrible but the wait staff was lovely. One of the chicken dishes came back raw...Twice. The salmon was okay but the mashed potatoes lacked any sort of flavor whatsoever. The drinks were nice and strong. I'm not sure where the bathroom staff ended up halfway through the event, though. This place is most definitely a wedding factory. I just came back from my cousin's wedding and I have to say this venue is beautiful. The decor was classy and elegant. The outside was equally beautiful. The friendly employees really made the experience memorable. They were accommodating especially for my parents who were not very mobile. The food during the cocktail hour was average to mediocre but there was a lot of it. There was every imaginable station from pasta to seafood, to charcuterie, to cheeses, to fruit, and more. Dinner was pretty average as well. I had the shrimp which was fried with panko breadcrumbs. I expected it to be crunchier than it was. My son and husband had the steak. They were okay with it but both noted that the quality of meat wasn't the best. My daughter said her kids meal of chicken nuggets were dry and the fries were stale. They all loved the dessert course. There was a a cotton candy machine, popcorn machine, a chocolate fountain, cookies, cakes, canolis, and much more. The whole experience was very nice. However, the food could be better. read more

Came to a wedding here as a guest over the weekend. I thought it was a beautiful venue. We were in the dome ballroom and it was breathtaking. There were approximately 10-12 tables and we were not cramped at all. This has got to be one of the best wedding parties that I've ever been to.We had a great time. There was so much food at the cocktail hour and then at the main seating, there was even more food. Everything was fresh and hot. The open bar all night was great. The drinks were amazing...every single one. I ordered the duck and it was amazing. Just when you thought it was done, they converted the dance floor area into a dessert bonanza. This was very memorable. My younger bro is getting married next year and is thinking about having it here too. read more

One word, BEAUTIFUL! The husband and I came here for our dearest friend's wedding day. One of the finest, grand, and beautiful places for two special people to get married! Super memorable and amazing night! Loved the ceremony and reception. The cocktail hour was very good and the evening food was not bad either. I ordered the salmon and enjoyed it very much. Actually, I was so full from the cocktail hour that I was barely able to finish the salmon. CHUCKLES! ;D Oh forgot to mention how much I loved the fresh and delicious mixed fruits served first at our table! We had our wedding party at Jericho Terrace (JT) this past May. We loved the venue, and the staff are professional. We had a wonderful celebration. Thanks to JT's accommodation and flexibility. While we thought everything went well, we were surprised to hear some guests commenting after the Big Day. Mostly related to the food quality at cocktail hour and the servers at banquet. Some guests complained some food items were very limited in quantity and not refilled in time. Some guests said some foods were too salty. We were very sorry to hear these from our very special and honorable guests... Thankfully our guests were able to have a good time despite the food issues and servers. Thanks to our exceptional wedding party including MCs and performers. We did regret that we were not able to do food tasting. We had wanted to but the JT was not able to accommodate due to the scheduling. I wonder if this food quality issue might be resolved if we were able to food taste and bring it to attention in advance if there were any concerns. In general, JT is a very nice wedding venue. However, we would love to see the foods and the banquet service team improvements. read more
