As a retired physician myself, I went in thinking how was I to summarize my history in a short time to this famous and busy specialist. During the same visit he and his most capable assistant performed ultrasound guided injections in less than 5 min, which I dreaded for years as other doctors would not perform unless I could arrange for chaperon due to the procedural pain. I wish I could give 6 stars. First of all, Dr Ray is a TRUE EXPERT in his field. You can easily look up his credentials, experience and accolades online. Second, he explained all of my options starting at the simplest/cheapest and working up from there (I tend to ask a LOT of questions and he answered them all). Finally, the execution and bedside manner are fantastic. I ultimately opted for two PRP injections in my elbow (two different tendons). Just before we started, he asked how I was doing and I admitted to being a little anxious. A minute later, he walked back into the procedure room with a bluetooth speaker connected to his phone and put on a relaxing playlist! That was so thoughtful and caring. The procedure itself was quick, easy and almost pain-free. He gave me a written, 6-week road map to get me back to full activity. Honestly, I can't say enough. I was referred to Doctor Ray by the Urgent Care located in the same building. I went in for a back injury and the PA recommended Dr. Ray and even sent over a request asking the office to schedule me in ASAP. I called the office 4 times throughout the week, during office hours, and left messages each time because they do not answer the phone. The message indicates they will call back but not once did I get a call. Now I have wasted one week not getting the treatment I need for my back. If the office was busy and could not get me in that is fine but to not call back to let me know was very unprofessional. I will try another office who treats potential patients with more respect. read more

Can't believe how awesome Dr Ray is! I was referred to him by Dr Yim who was able to successfully diagnose the issue I was having with my right knee. Dr Yim appropriately diagnosed via MRI the situation that I had a significant cyst growing in my right knee (causing intense swelling and pain and inflammation) as a result of a meniscus surgery that I had 3 years ago. Anyway, Dr Yim referred me to Dr. Ray who has been known to do a new procedure for patients with cysts that involve an ultrasound technique and I feel so much better now than before. After suffering an unfortunate injury while trying to wake surf in my 40's I was referred to Dr Ray. His MA Alexa was able to get me an appointment quickly and sent me all the required paperwork on an app so I didn't have to do it on a clipboard in the office. Alexa was working the day of my appointment and had everything ready so I didn't have to do much other than let her know I was there. I arrived 5 minutes early and was in the examination room at the time of my appointment, meeting with Doctor Ray. Never in my life has that happened. Dr Ray was thorough with his examination and very attentive to my positioning since I was in a decent amount of pain. He ordered X-rays, which Devin his X-Ray tech was able to perform immediately in his office. Devin knew exactly what angles Dr Ray would need and worked with me to make sure I was comfortable while getting me into the correct position. If you've ever had an X-ray or MRI while injured you know how hard this can be, Devin was great! Dr Ray discussed results with me as soon as I finished with Devin. Dr Ray was able to confirm the injury he suspected was the cause of my pain but needed me to get an MRI to rule out the need for surgery. He ordered my MRI STAT and personally called as soon as he had results. This all happened within 3-4 hours!!! Fortunately, I didn't need surgery but Dr Ray gave me a detailed care plan and I am well on my way to feeling back to normal. I can't thank Dr Ray and his staff for the detailed and efficient care I received at his office. I highly recommend this Doctor! very lucky to have found Dr. Ray. I am seeing him for thoracic outlet syndrome which I had surgery for but returned due to scar tissue. I looked forever to find someone as qualified as him to do hydrodissection and feel very lucky. His ultrasound skills are very very good and I finally have a better sense of what's going on that multiple Drs, past ultrasound and MRIs couldn't provide. He also started doing Botox into my scarred muscles which I'm hopeful will prevent another surgery. He has great bedside manner and is in no way arrogant.
