Unfortunately, we were hugging the left side of the road so much to avoid oncoming traffic that we hit a sharp Rock and destroyed our tire. We quickly changed over to the spare tire and were still able to climb our mountain. This morning, we woke up knowing that we would have to get the tire repaired but didn't know where to go. Several people recommended this place and we are sure glad that we found it. Immediately after we pulled in the repair man walked over to our car and assessed the situation. Our tire was not just punctured but torn to shreds. He took it back into the shop and within seven minutes had a new tire on the car and had us on our way! We couldn't believe it! He also was thoughtful enough to encourage us to save the receipt for insurance reimbursement. Thank you Tyre Stop!

The insurance issue me a cheque with auto break offering to cover the salvage by paying me 250 for the car. I agreed to this. I rang Jack multiple times over the course of 2 weeks and he kept fobbing me off. Very rude on the phone. Eventually I got fed up and demanded he collect it. He told me he had looked at the car and that it was only worth 100 euro. To his surprise, I told him I had it in writing that I was to get 250 euro for it which he grudgingly accepted. Absolute cowboy trying to get my car for less, he would have caught a quieter person. Fuming isn't the word.

Being a young woman going to a mechanic when you know nothing about cars is a daunting experience…read more(coming from someone who was charged €80 for tracking elsewhere lol)- especially when you don't have a dad locally. But Richard was the loveliest man- so down to earth. Explained my different options to me and it was clear that he has good intentions and isn't there to overcharge. From the second you rock into Sean Hanleys old school set-up and are greeted by Anne you know you've come to the right place. Why? Because you can trust them. They do a great job, don't charge an arm and a leg and don't try and give you the run around. Have used them for three different model of cars, have always been happy with the end product and see no reason to go anywhere else.
