    'Painted' hinges

I don't even know where to begin with the experience we had with Mike Jensen. It has been beyond frustrating and caused us multiple losses. Mike Jensen made us a lot of promises when he came to see our townhome for the first time. He sounded good and we picked him out of 5 contractors we met. However, he did not keep most of his promises. We were told the project would have been completed by end of February, the home was sitting empty for 2 months. When we moved to the state on March 20th and arrived to the townhome it was in a very bad shape. Baseboards were not painted or painted very sloppily, there was construction dirt and garbage all over the house, doors were dirty with fingerprints, toilet was 'used' and not cleaned after the use, our kitchen ceiling was a mess after light fixtures were replaced. I can go on and on with the issues we experienced. Please review the pictures, as they speak for themselves. The worst part is that Mike Jensen never apologized for all the troubles caused, better yet he told my husband that he was 'pissing him off' when my husband expressed our frustrations. Way to please a client Mike, very unprofessional and rude. It's been 2 weeks since we moved in and I continue scrubbing floors trying to remove paint that was sloppily applied all over the home. Mike was very quick in getting his money from us (almost $15K) but once he got paid, he couldn't care less about us. It seemed like he abandoned our project all together. We had to follow up on every detail and request that he promised us ourselves, we also have many emails that were unanswered. Bottom line - the owner of the company does not care about the outcome of the project and satisfaction of the customer, the work is sloppy and some was not completed at all, we overpaid $2,000 for the heater because the plumber made a mistake and we are still trying to recover from this so called renovation performed by Jensen Interiors. Stay away, you will save yourself money and headache. **6.24.18 Mike Jensen started harassing me for posting true photos and true review, he called me names through messages. Speaks volumes about his professionalism and his business. Ask yourself - would you like to be treated like that God forbid you have a problem or concern with his work?

If you're looking for a reputable, sound company you trust to do your work, please look elsewhere…read more This company provides no sort of peace of mind when it comes to home projects. My husband and I just purchased our first home and have a couple of projects we want to work on - the kitchen being the first. We had quotes done from other companies and it boiled down to 2 companies - Carla and another (whom we ended up using). From the beginning, Carla was reluctant to when it came to educating us on the process and helping us to feel comfortable handing over over $3k to them. I tried to look up their license with DBPR and was unsuccessful in finding them - and I am a pre-law student, I'm well aware of how to search for companies with DBPR. They're not even BBB accredited and everything they did is exactly what all sources say contractors and companies should NOT be doing. In a way, I feel like they take advantage of customers who they feel aren't competent in reading choppy legal agreements and understanding them. By far, this was one of the worst professional agreements I have ever read in my life. I want to emphasize their contract: 1. You're forced to accept that if they need a second slab of over $2,xxx that you'll have to buy it OR you will lose your deposit which includes the cost of a slab PLUS half of labor. They won't guarantee what they quote you is what you'll pay. 2. They also refuse to guarantee that you'll have the work done with an acceptable amount of seams (professional craftsmanship is not guaranteed) 3. Their contract says that THEY aren't responsible for any damages to your home that THEY may cause. 4. They have a contradictory clause in the contract saying that although YOU pay for the slab, THEY are the ones buying it so it is their property. It later says that they will not be responsible if your slab breaks after you pay for it and will only act as mediators between you and the slab supplier. I will attach pictures of the contract they sent us, the contract we sent BACK to them to ask that they offer some sort of protection to us- their potential clients- that was rejected. This is terrible customer service and a terrible business practice. You should NEVER start off a relationship by advising that you're not responsible for any of your work and won't stand behind any of it. Please go else where. They may be cheap, but it's probably because they're not insured or bonded or anything along those lines. Their contract is B.S. and I'm glad we decided not to use them. On top of all of this, we were willing to PAY THE LABOR COSTS of having their team come template our kitchen and have them lay it out on a mock slab with the same dimensions as the slab we were choosing but they refused that as well. The sad part is that she had a contact that had such a beautiful stone at an unbeatable price! But I'm willing to pay more and invest in a company I trust and work I can trust.

Loved working with them! They did a fabulous job on our kitchen countertop replacement. They even…read moresaved the scraps from the kitchen for a few months which I can use on my bathroom. I highly recommend them! They will come to your home with samples. They had the best price too.
