I love this place!!! As I was pulling into the new apartments across the street, I saw a man on the street holding a sign for Jenny's donuts and immediately got excited . I thought I was talking to myself when I said " yay! Donuts!" But I must have yelled since the man with the sign yells out to me " it's across the street on the end" and pointed to this wonderful place I planned to eat breakfast. As soon as I walked through the doors we were greeted by big smiles by the man in woman behind the counter. The woman ( forgot to ask her name) was very kind, friendly and patient. She never became annoyed or rushed me as I took forever to choose my one donut that became a mixed dozen ($7.99). She even gave my two munchkins donuts holes as they waited on indecisive mommy. I walked out with too many donuts to name(no chocolate) , but they were all fresh and really good! So good, the box never made it home. If I lived across the street from this place, i would come here everyday. Their warms welcome, friendly smiles, and excellent customer service is enough to bring me back. Getting great donuts is a bonus. read more

I can say all i can about the food.. but the part that really matters about this place is the wonderful service you get from the two owners! The lady that works there didn't catch her name but she is absolutely the nicest lady ever! She always greets you with a smile! They always have recommendations that you can try and it never fails! These are just donuts, nothing special about them. Stopped in yesterday morning since we heard about this place before flying in from Chicago. I was looking forward to a maple bacon donut and my wife likes the chocolate long John. She was in luck but I wasn't , so I settled for the cinnamon roll. We had decided before we walked in to get one donut each and go back the next day for more since we're so close. When we got in the store, there was one person in front of us placing a rather large order. As we're standing there, a gentleman walks from the back with a tray of donut holes. My wife and I look at each other and whisper, one dozen, figuring we can't pass up hot donuts. It's our turn to order and when the lady at the register starts to pick out the holes, she goes to the tray that was already out. Admittedly the tray looked full but I asked was it possible to get some from the new tray. She tells me they're all the same and continues pulling from the same batch. Then she says, don't worry we have the best donuts. After walking 20' back to my hotel, I dig in the bag and guess what, the donuts aren't hot. And, although they were good, they're just donuts and I've probably had better elsewhere. My thought was if the donuts were all the same, why not give me what I asked for. It seemed like a very easy thing to do. I hope this message is a customer service wake up call for the owners and a reminder that they are just selling donuts. read more

I had such a wonderful experience at this place, and I was only stopping by for a quick bite. If I remember correctly ( and I hope I do-im just so horrible with names) Susan, was the woman who created me as we walked in. You could definitely tell she enjoys what she does for a living, and seriously who wouldn't?! :^) The first thing you smell when you walk through the front doors is the sweet and savory aroma of the pastry dough. Then your eyes settle in on the donuts that have been freshly made and just waiting for you to grab a bite! :) The small custard filled puff pastries are melt in your mouth delicious, and yes you must put it all in at once (don't be shy)! We also got the larger custard filled, chocolate covered, donuts with the cherry filled ones as well (which were for my husband, but I tried a bite and I gotta say I was so happy it tahappylike actual cherry, rather than that weird chemical taste that other companies use). We also got some donut holes and a sprinkle donut. Hey, don't judge us... it was Sunday morning and who could resist these amazing treats! Family owned business, I know the family personally. But this rating is not biased, I rate based on my love for their donuts and croissants. If you loved croissants, donut shop croissants are the best! They have different flavors and they are pretty good sizes for what you pay for. The cream cheese croissants is also my favorite. But they do make great ham and cheese ones. But I have to say they need to polish up on their customer services. Definitely no doubt their donuts is super fresh and light, I think they baked it all day long now, not just in the early mornings any more. Basically they bake more as they run out, which is better because the donuts are fresh and hot out of the fryer. I'm sure a lot of customers prefer that. I am not a fan of donut shop coffees, they are too watered down for me. I like my coffee strong. I wished they make espresso and lattes. That would be real deal of a donut shop! read more

My wife and I come here about 1-2 times a week in the morning before work and we're always greeted with a friendly hello by the staff. Jenny is super awesome and friendly. Best doughnuts-- perfectly flavored and fried. I loved the cream filled with chocolate frosting. I immediately regretted that I only bought one. The orange glazed cake donut was a real surprising favorite. Real pieces of orange zest in the frosting. I had no clue I was eating vegan donuts until the owner told me there was no egg, dairy or artificial color in the ones I got. They were so delicious! I LOVE their cream puffs. You have to get there early cuz they sell out fast. My fav are the powdered cream puffs, but chocolate are a close second. Crispy on the outside & delicious on the inside. The donuts tasted dry and old. Also the frosting on the sprinkle donut had a weird after taste my family said they also had this weird fruit like after taste. Unfortunately I had saw how great the reviews were and drove a nice distance and got a dozen for my family so a lot went to waste.
