He explained it would be de-shedding, nail trim, ear clean and booty clean. Went back to pick up my pup when they called and I was completely grossed out, just looked like a gross sweatshop in the back, so much fur all over (from like all day). He had me pay THEN told me that they couldn't cut my dogs nails because he was trying to bite! I was dumbfounded, I have the least aggressive dog he loves everyone and everything, he doesn't even do that when I play with him! I said that was the main reason I came, so he said they'll try again... 1 minute later said "ok he's done they clipped them" First off... they DID NOT clip them! Secondly.... He was supposed to be de-shedded and wasn't BUT he was butchered around his entire hind area and mid stomach (he is a short haired dog that should have never had a razor on him) I will never return here and I would suggest nobody else does either! Not only is it dirty but they did a terrible job!! I couldn't imagine if I had a pup that needed a real haircut! My pup bolted to me crying he was terrified! And Dr. D., rather than having me put Walter up on the metal table where most dogs would more likely be nervous, he just sat down on the bench with us and chatted and casually did his exam. Such great bedside manner. At a former vet in San Diego, I would always sit on the floor with my dogs rather than putting them in a chair while waiting. The doctor would come in and then just sit down on the floor with us for the entire time. That was very cool too. We started to exit to the lobby out of one door, but there was a very angry German Shepherd barking loudly. So a sweet vet tech stopped us, brought us out a door on the opposite side of the lobby, then walked all the way to the front door with us, staying between the German Shepherd and us in case it got aggressive. That act of care and kindness was amazing.
