Horrible customer service. I went in on a Wednesday to see if they could fix the hinge on my laptop. Paul took a look and noted down which parts would be required to fix the problem. Said he would inquire about how much the parts would cost and get back to me the next day, and I could bring my laptop back in for the repair once the parts were in.
I did not get a call back on Thursday, so I called him on Friday to inquire. He said they had not heard back from their suppliers, so would call me on Monday. Still nothing on Monday. Called back Tuesday, and was told someone would give me a call back. Tara called on Wednesday morning (one week after I went in) to say that she would look into the cost of the parts and call me later in the day. Guess what, no call back!
Finally, I have called ByteGuys today. Apparently, a broken hinge is a common problem. They are going to pick up the laptop from my home, do the repair, and drop it back. Now THAT is customer service! Should have gone to them in the first place. read more
