If you are in need of tree/brush removal, tree trimming , etc., do yourself a favor and call James…read moreGibson before you call anyone else! I contacted James Gibson/(Scrappy's) Tree Service after hearing from people around town that his prices were most reasonable. My call was returned within the hour and the very next day the owner, James Gibson, along with one of his crew, showed up to survey the job and to give me a free estimate. He arrived when he said he would which was very refreshing as I have not had much luck with getting others to come out in the past. During our first meeting James advised me regarding the trees that may be a threat to my home and within about a week of our first meeting he and his crew returned to do the work (he would've been here sooner had my schedule allowed it). James and his crew recently finished up falling 3 very large trees on my property, ranging from 160ft to 200ft, that never should have been allowed to grow so large so close to the house. They did a great job and were careful not to injure other trees or shrubs in the process. They took down a 200ft tree in my side yard where there was no margin for error as it was in a very precarious place, and it was done without damaging the shed right beside it! I was amazed to watch them work and in awe of their expertise. They also did some other work for me while they were here, which included removing a very large pile of brush/yard waste. He and his crew were hard-working, professional, organized and efficient and his prices certainly cannot be beat! In total it only cost me around $900 for everything! Of note, James gave me a break on his already reasonable prices if I did the cleanup afterwords which worked out great for me. I can't tell you how much of a relief It was to get this work done, especially after being advised by my homeowners that should a tree fall on my home or shed they would only cover damages if the tree(s) were healthy... if the trees were found to be dead/dying (which mine were) they would not cover ANY of the damages to my home or outbuildings as it would be due to my negligence! I will most certainly use James Gibson and his crew again. They exceeded my expectations on everything and I highly recommend them! I definitely plan on having them back to do some additional work for me in the future and I have already recommended James Gibson Tree Service to several of my neighbors!

I wasn't gonna leave a review because I only like leaving good reviews. But after I seen the last…read morereview I decided to leave one. James Gibson was hired to do a tree job for us. He talked to my husband about the job. When he showed up to look at the job he had a couple woman with him I didn't think anything about it I thought maybe one of them was his wife. But on the day they come back to do the job he had nothing but woman with him. This kind of work is not for women. I was worried the whole time they were there doing the job that one of them would get hurt. He did great work but we won't be connecting him again to do any more work for us until he gets a real crew. Not woman this is not the kind of work woman should be doing. I will not be recommending scrappys Tree Service either until he gets a real crew not a bunch of women who can really get hurt.

"The third time is the charm" as the saying goes and so it was for me with Zack and Deck Dynasty!…read moreDeck Dynasty is the forth installer I contacted to install pre-assembled aluminum railings but only the third to actually show up. Zack and his crew were very courteous and professional. Not only did they do an excellent job but Zack went above and beyond by upgrading my back porch steps and offering to haul an additional item to the dump. When I had an unexpected home emergency Zack was fine with postponing the last bit of installation until next year. My railings look great and I owe it all to Zack and Deck Dynasty! I highly recommend them and would not hesitate to call again if I need any decking done!

These are the main reasons why I would recommend Zach/Deck Dynasty: His integrity and work ethic are apparent! He was flexible and intent on making sure he delivered what I wanted in a deck and the placement of the fenced! He made sure I understood any issues that arose and addressed them promptly and professionally, great communication! His estimate was remarkably close to actual material costs, and the labor expense did not vary from the estimate... no surprises! His work, the finished product, speaks for itself. He made sure we were pleased before calling it finished! He made sure that all areas he worked around were cleaned up! Lastly, but importantly, his price was very reasonable! Honestly, I can't say enough. He will be the first person I call for the next project!!! LD
