I wanted to share my experience at Good Life Chiropractic because, overall, I really appreciated…read morethe kindness and professionalism of the team, and I think the clinic has a lot of potential to provide an even stronger patient experience. I had been dealing with lower back pain for several days that wasn't resolving on its own. Even though Yelp indicated the clinic was closed, I called and someone kindly answered the phone and was able to fit me in for a same-day appointment as long as I could come in quickly. I really appreciated how accommodating they were. The clinic itself was very clean, organized, and welcoming. The chairs and equipment looked new and sturdy, and I noticed how much effort the team put into keeping everything tidy. The receptionist was very nice and friendly, and Fred, the technician who brought me back, was especially helpful. He was knowledgeable and took the time to ask relevant questions about my back pain and situation. I felt like he genuinely wanted to understand what I was experiencing. When the doctor came in, she was professional and clearly knowledgeable in her field. My main reason for not giving the experience a higher rating is that the interaction with the doctor felt somewhat rushed. The actual adjustment itself took approximately 5-7 minutes, and while I understand that chiropractic visits can be brief, I still had several questions I wanted to ask. At times, I felt like I had to quickly get a question in before she was ready to leave the room. What made this a little more confusing for me was that immediately afterward, I noticed there didn't appear to be anyone else waiting in the lobby. That left me wondering if there was a reason I felt so rushed, because I would have really appreciated another few minutes to explain my job duties and work and what may have contributed to my situation. I don't expect a lengthy appointment, but I do think patients benefit from having enough time to feel heard and leave with their questions answered. One other piece of feedback I wanted to mention is privacy. During both my time with Fred and with Dr. K, the door remained open, and I could hear conversations taking place throughout the clinic. I am actually somewhat hard of hearing, so I found it interesting that I was still able to hear other conversations outside the room. I understand that every clinic has its own setup and workflow, but having the door closed during patient consultations, when possible, might provide a greater sense of privacy and allow patients to focus more comfortably on their conversation with the provider. The pricing felt fair, and I genuinely appreciated the entire front-office team and how clean and organized the clinic was. My feedback is really coming from a place of wanting to see the clinic succeed because I think there is a lot of knowledge and potential within the team.

This review is about my most recent experience with him and his colleague, Dr. Eliot Foad. I am a rock climber and injured my left shoulder in December 2024. I saw him shortly after and recovered through the adjustment/treatment visits and rehab exercises he prescribed. However, I re-injured it in January 2026 and had been doing rehab exercises since then with little progress. I finally went back -- I live in San Francisco, so the commute is tough! -- two weeks ago, this time for pain in my lower back. It turned out I had been straining it through poor weightlifting form. He adjusted me, advised me on what to avoid while lifting, and I felt like a new person almost immediately (though the body does take a few days to fully recover). He also suggested a novel treatment called shockwave therapy for my shoulder and elbow, where I had developed tendinitis from climbing, along with a compression arm band for use when climbing or lifting. I completed the shockwave therapy on my shoulder and elbow with Dr. Foad, who is also highly knowledgeable and a genuine pleasure to talk to. A few days later, I felt as though I had a brand-new shoulder, which allowed me to start climbing two grades above my previous level, something I had avoided out of fear of further injury. My elbow is also feeling much better, and the band has been a great help. I highly recommend both Dr. Pedersen and Dr. Foad for any sports injuries or injuries in general -- you could not be in better hands!

Dr Pedersen and Dr Foad are truly the best at what they do. For the last 9 months I have been battling frozen shoulder, hip bursitis and severe neck, upper back and shoulder pain accumulated over 30 years of sitting at a desk. It all caught up with me and I was really suffering. Dr Pedersen put a plan together that was tailored for me. He has an amazing understanding of the body and an approach that is modern and creative. He listens and he cares and it shows in the results. You have to do the work and follow the plan and I promise that when you do you will feel immensely better. I am finally able to move in ways I could not for a really long time. I have drastically improved my flexibility and reduced the daily pain. I am nearly there! Partnering with Positive Motion is worth your time and money. If you are in pain check them out. You won't regret it.

Unfortunately, they put me in a strange position when they refused to book my next appointment unless my husband was present. When I politely told them that I didn't need my husband and if I could pick an appointment that works for me, they did not listen to me and forced me to take a delayed weekend appointment because my husband doesn't work weekends. I left giving them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe I misunderstood etc. A few days later, I canceled my appointment in hopes of getting an appointment that best worked with my schedule, as I am in chronic pain and don't want to schedule based on my husband's availability. I let them know explicitly that I was canceling my appointment because I needed to book on my availability, not my husband's. The gal literally responded with, "Would your husband be available to video call in?" At this point, my frustration and overall "ick" confirmed that this is not the chiro for me. For as much pain as I live in, it's illogical to delay care unless it works with my husband's schedule. As an Army veteran, I do not appreciate being made to feel like I need a chaperone. As a 40+ year old woman who is (for all intents and purposes) the CEO of all things medical in our family, this felt needlessly sexist. When I directly asked why I needed a chaperone I was told, "I'm sorry you feel that way; it's not a chaperone it so that he can sign off/approve of [my] treatment plan". After I picked my jaw off of the ground, I let them know that it wasn't working out and I would not be rebooking with them.

I had seen from other reviews that Dr. Chun has experience with prenatal chiropractic care and it really shows. I worked with Dr. Dino and Dr. Haydon Stanley, and they are absolutely incredible chiropractors! Definitely consider coming to this establishment if you face any sort of injury or pain because the chiropractors here are professional, experienced, and definitely worth your time. A few years ago, I fractured and dislocated my elbow in a wrestling practice. I went to the ER and got put into a cast for a month. Once the cast came off, I was looking for somewhere I could get physical therapy, but many different places were backed up and I would have to wait almost a month before I could get any PT started. However, I was then recommended to go to Los Gatos Sports Chiro, and Dr. Haydon Stanley got to work on my elbow right away. I'm super thankful for his amazing treatment since he got my elbow into good shape so I could get back on the wrestling mat feeling my best! One year after I injured my elbow, I injured my knee in a wrestling tournament pretty badly, so I went back to Los Gatos Sports Chiro and began working with Dr. Dino. With my knee injury, I was a bit more confused on why it hurt than when I injured my elbow, but Dino was very caring since he listened to everything I told him about what happened, did some tests and gave me a good diagnosis on what my knee injury was. The exercises he gave me to recover were very helpful in making my knee feel better, and Dino could explain the purpose of each movement in depth when I asked him about them. He is very intelligent in his field of study! Also, when I was in the climax of my freshman wrestling season, I started experiencing really bad knee pain from running all the time, but had to continue running on the treadmill to make weight. Luckily, Dino went out of his way and found time to do recovery work on my knees to put them in good condition so that I could continue wrestling and running. There's no way I could've made weight and competed at the California wrestling state championships tournament without the help of Dino and the other chiropractors at Los Gatos Sports Chiro. Dino pretty much saved my freshman wrestling season and I can't thank him enough! Overall, Los Gatos Sports Chiro is incredible! I've been to other Physical Therapists and such, but they do not come close to how professional and competent the chiropractors at Los Gatos Sports Chiro are! Dr. Dino and Dr. Haydon Stanley have been a huge help in my athletic journey and wrestling career, and they can do the same for you!

If you are reading this, you are looking for a Chiropractor…read more I was in your place for the last 3-4 years. I have experience with chiropractic treatment as a patient since I was 18 years old and I am now 59 years old. I could write a novel about my Chiropractic journeys. I'm telling you because I want you know where I am coming from in my review. I have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly in Chiropractors. I was living in Los Angeles for about 20 years before moving to Silicon Valley and I had a great Chiropractor for 19 of those 20 years. He was a hard act to follow. So, when I moved north I started to look for a Chiropractor. It was a friggin' ordeal. I tried 5 different Chiropractors before I found On Purpose Chiropractic. I would go in for the initial visit and I would leave very dissatisfied. Some of them seemed like snake oil salesmen, others didn't want to do a regular adjustment, they wanted to use a device or put me on a machine. The cost of x-rays was ridiculous. Most of them would send me out to some sketchy clinic that would not use my insurance and wanted $200 CASH for an initial x-ray. The positive side of this journey is that I got really clear on what I was looking for. I wanted to find a Chiropractic Clinic with the following: 1) The clinic had to have their own x-ray machine and include the films in the cost of the initial visit. 2) The clinic had to have a Chiropractor who did manual adjustments. 3) The clinic had to be clean and well organized. Especially during this time of a pandemic. 4) The Chiropractor needed to listen to my symptoms, review the films thoroughly and give me a legitimate treatment plan. 5) The receptionist had to be professional and know how to set appointments properly, I don't have time to spend hours in a clinic. 6) And lastly, the billing had to be clear and clean. I hate surprises especially financial surprises. I know I sound very picky, and I am. I was in a lot of pain from sciatica and issues related to "computer neck." I didn't want my condition to get worse or to not improve while I was paying for treatments. I found everything I was looking for at On Purpose Chiropractic Clinic. Dr. Adam Kleinberg knows his field and he is very clear in his communication. In the first consultation he was able to take x-rays in the office and conduct a full examination. He took the time to really review my films, listen to my issues and conduct muscle testing. I made a second appointment so he could take the time to develop a full treatment plan. He was thoughtful in his review of all the gathered data. Mariah, the receptionist, was very professional and made my return appointment at a time that worked for me. When I returned, Dr. Kleinberg reviewed his entire treatment plan from start to finish and gave me a price for the treatment. No guess work, no surprises. In my head, I was thinking: "This Dr. is hitting all my review points. I should give it a shot." So, I committed to the treatment plan. My sciatica was really bothering me that day and he gave the first treatment. He did a full adjustment from my hips to my neck. Seriously, it was like he turned the switch off on my sciatic pain. The relief I experienced was very real and I haven't had it since that day. The other aches and pains in my neck, arms, and hands also started to subside. It took a few weeks before that pain completely shut off but it did get much better. I am writing this review because if you are reading it then you are probably in the same place I was. I wish I could have found a review like this while I was searching for a chiropractor during the past 4 years. I would not have wasted all my time and money on the others. If you are in pain, do yourself a favor and book an appointment. If you are looking for a chiropractor with the knowledge and experience to take care of your issues, book an appointment. You will get a clear treatment plan, you will know how much the cost will be for the entire treatment, you will get what you need without extra surprises and you will start feeling better relatively quickly.
