It's almost like a farm setting and sorta lit up like Christmas it's very beautiful with all the lights. We stopped to grab a coffee at the coffee shop there and it was honestly not that great, they were very sweet the girl working there I do remember that. But their coffee was not that great. The dinner we had was nice but it was outside and it was freezing. So we were all shivering and by the time our food came out everything was pretty cold. The entire hotel was not busy there wasn't that many people there. Kind of a shame since you think it would be since it is beautiful there. The rooms were interesting and across from each other, however I loved the little fire pit they had in the middle of the outside area going back and forth to the rooms. The kids had a blast though they had fun running back and forth and they do leave a lot of yummy snacks around which was really nice. The customer service was not bad not the best but not bad! Everyone was nice but things took extra long when it shouldn't when no one was really there. I hope next time we visit this hotel it will be busier. But it's a very unique kind of a hotel and very gorgeous. At least check it out once. Have a really beautiful day :) Be kind to everyone - Aloha

It's a it of a drive from Long Beach, but for a special occasion, well worth it! If you live or are visiting locally (Malibu or Santa Monica), easy and pretty drive North on PCH. Our adult son made our reservation in Open Table and noted it was for a special occasion, a Birthday (mine). Nowadays, that note is rarely recognized by restaurants and most use Open Table for their reservations! Upon arrival at the hostess station, we were asked who's birthday and said Happy Birthday, and again by the Hostess that brought us to our table, and then by our sever. I felt so special and acknowledged! It's these small gestures that truly make the difference and a very lasting impression! Casey was our server and he was excellent. Helped to make suggestions and answer questions. Checked back often with each course to make sure everything was as expected. The other staff helping to serve and bus, very friendly and helpful. For drinks, I ordered a Mimosa and my husband and son both ordeted cappuccino, all excellent. They have an excellent cocktail and wine menu. Rolls came out piping hot, nice touch! For appetizers, we started with Crab Cakes and Heirloom Tomatoes with Burrata. Burrata is house made and it shows! Both were so good and I would highly recommend ordering. They have many great options for starters! For entrees, I ordered the Chocolate Chip Challah French Toast. It came with Chicken Sausage and Frsh Fruit. Too much to eat after appetizers (generous portions) but happily took some home. The chicken sausage was very good. First time I have had chicken sausage and liked it! Our son ordered The Eggs Benedict (with prosciutto). He lived the Hollandaise saucen had a kick. I tried his potaoes, red roasted and very good. He also had fresh fruit with his entree. It was the first time we had fruit in more than a week (the parasite scare!) and it was wonderful to have fruit one knew was freshly cut (rinds still attached) and tasted so wonderful, really missed it! My husband ordered the Hangar Steak and Eggs. He absolutely loved the steak and the accompanying Avocado Cilantro! There are so any great options for Brunch Entrees, hard to choose but think.we chose well. We had absolutely no room for dessertsn although the dessert menu looks wonderful! Birthday cake awaiting at home! Our server, Casey, brought out a scoop of Vanilla Bean, house made, with a candle. Again, very nice touch and another way to recognize my birthday! It was delicious! Dinner menu looks wonderful and they have a nice bar area. Wouldn't hesitate to stop by for a deink if I was in the area! The views are absolutely stunning. The restaurant opens up completely the outdoors (sliding glass doors) and has a spacious patio with lots of umbrellas to produce great shade! Parking is Valet, $15 added to your bill, very convenient. Valet waa very polite and friendly. Thank you Geoffrey's for a wonderful Brunch for my birthday!

I wanted to share my disappointment regarding my birthday dinner at your restaurant Saturday night…read moreJuly 25th @5pm. We spent nearly $500, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet the expectations we had for such a special occasion. The ocean view was a beautiful view, but the food didn't match the price or the occasion. I was surprised that the New York steak was served with french fries and that you didn't have baked potatoes. It felt like something you get at a casual restaurant then a fine dining steakhouse, and the filet mignon was served with two pieces of asparagus. The Watermelon salad was simply plain and the watermelon wasn't even sweet!!! Everything Was served out of a bag, the arugula, slivered almonds and feta!! Simply plain!! Nothing fancy!! I have to say the crabcakes were excellent on a beautiful presentation and the dessert was absolutely delicious and that was the best part of the meal!! I don't like comparing restaurants, but at many other places we've celebrated birthdays, the staff has gone out of their way to make the guest of honor feel special. There is usually some acknowledgment, attentive service throughout the meal, and an overall experience that feels like a celebration. Sadly, none of that happened during our visit. I do want to recognize our waitress, who was the only server covering the entire patio. She worked incredibly hard and did an amazing job despite having so many tables to manage. She was not the issue. However, I was disappointed by another female staff member who was serving the black pepper. I simply asked for extra pepper on my steak, and she appeared irritated and walked away abruptly, which felt unprofessional and left a negative impression. Overall, there was nothing special about the dinner presentation or atmosphere that made my birthday feel special. For a celebration that cost nearly $500, I left feeling disappointed and wishing the experience had matched the quality of food and reputation your restaurant is known for & spending nearly $500!!

We completely understand that the weather was beyond the restaurant's control. What was within their control was how they managed seating. Unfortunately, despite having a reservation, we were overlooked and left waiting due to poor organization. When we asked to speak with the manager, PABLO was dismissive, repeatedly interrupted us, ignored the fact that we had a reservation, and sent us back to the front desk instead of addressing the problem. Rather than helping, he emphasized that he had worked there for 26 years and knew what he was doing. His attitude came across as rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. Once we were finally seated, however, our server (Jorge) was excellent, and the food was outstanding. The waitstaff and kitchen clearly provide a wonderful dining experience. Our disappointment was not with the weather, but with the way the situation was handled. A manager should set the standard for customer service, and unfortunately, that did not happen here. I hope Paradise Cove views this as an opportunity to improve communication, organization, and leadership. I am sharing this review not simply to complain, but in the hope that future guests have a better experience. Paradise Cove is a beautiful restaurant with excellent food and dedicated staff who deserve management that reflects the same level of quality.

What I loved about Officiant Eric was the ability to customize our ceremony! It was perfect for us as we didn't really want to have a religious ceremony and we wanted to customize it to our liking. Officiant Eric was encouraging, super helpful, and was open to being available for a FaceTime chat. He was very responsive when we first inquired about a tower monogram, and I'm so glad we decided to add it. I won't lie, I almost decided not to book because I was overwhelmed with all our wedding expenses and thought a monogram was perhaps unnecessary. I am SO glad I changed my mind because it ended up being my favorite "decoration" of the entire wedding! Michael also added courtyard uplighting for us, and everything looked beautiful and made the reception space feel so special. Michael also took a bunch of photos throughout our wedding day and sent them to us the next day, which was such a sweet surprise! Thank you so much, Michael!
