I discovered this little gemstone when looking for a parking and decided to explore. What a great decision! Welcomed and greeted with a smile I got a little intro about the shop, the woman behind these amazing sweet little things and the ingredients used (natural flavors, freshly made daily, etc.). I was excited and took different cupcakes and a mini cheesecake home. And Boy, were they good. Flavorful, great taste, moist cake, not too sweet, fluffy consistency and a filling like from heaven!! I'm impressed with the attention to detail, beautifully decorated and no frosting or cake tasted the same, the all have different ones. So glad I found this place. We will be back for more. I ordered a Cheddar and Bacon Scone and a Cinnamon Roll. The cinnamon roll was still warm! I also got a Chocolate Macadamia Nut Latte. My husband was born and raised right here in Hillman, but we have never felt more unwelcome anywhere in town than in that bakery. Sure we didn't have perfectly aesthetic clothing on but they were clean and appropriate. From the moment we walked in, both the cashier and the barista made us feel judged with their cold demeanor. When my husband tried thanking them twice as we interacted, they completely ignored him. It honestly felt like they couldn't wait to get us out of their shop. To top it off, we received a glaring amount of staring throughout our visit, making it a genuinely uncomfortable experience. As for the orders: my chai latte was extremely watery, though I will give credit where it's due--my husband's coffee was actually very good. Unfortunately, great coffee doesn't make up for cold, inhospitable customer service.
