Had Jenkins do a full floor water restoration project. 13k job At first they we were great however they had a punch list that took forever and to this day (2 months later) we still have a broken tile they never fixed. Use Spangler they seem to be better. read more

I wish I would have read reviews first.. my insurance company recommended them. Should have known.. they were super on the spot at first.. then.. work fell off.. guess other jobs needed "'on the spot at first" attention. The work was acceptable EXCEPT.. The workers just flat didn't perform the work requested but I sure got billed for it !!! CHECK YOUR INVOICE !!! This company will overcharge you EVERY step of the way. I had to call them out SEVERAL times.. finally the owner acknowledged the accounting error and made it right. That correction by the owner is the ONLY reason they got 2 stars. read more

Don't ever hire Jenkins Restoration. Our insurance company sent them to fix drywall and paint after a flood from upstairs bathroom and it's been a disaster. They keep canceling appointments to come back to finish work. They opened windows and door before sanding, sending white powder dust throughout my entire downstairs, left without taking down plastic (which did no good cause the wind blew it open and powder everywhere ) leaving our kitchen unusable till we took plastic down. They have all our entryway and hall furniture piled in formal dining room yet doesn't come back to complete job, expecting us to keep our house in shambles till they feel like working again. The business manager admitted they get lots of complaints yet they still keep these very unreliable employees. This is beyond unacceptable and unprofessional. read more

Jenkins Restoration helped us through a water damage claim when a pipe burst in our home. Mike Donihee was our project manager and he went above and beyond to get our home back and did an amazing job in managing the project. Jenkins was paid by my insurance company to repair my wood floor caused by water damage. The wood was warped and discolored. The source of the water damage was unknown. Jenkins was paid to repair the subflooring, but did not. This was discovered when the floor began to warp again. When I went into my crawl space, I discovered Jenkins replaced good wood flooring over the rotted subflooring. My pictures from the initial discovery of the damage and this recurrence are identical. You could clearly see new flooring over the rotted subfloor. I involved my insurance company, they had Jenkins replace the newly warped flooring and subfloor. When they replaced the subfloor, the leak was discovered. It was a small leak caused by a staple hitting a plastic water line during construction, I assume. If they replaced the subfloor initially, as they were paid to do, the leak would have been discovered. When they performed the initial repair, they said they had to refinish the entire first floor putting us out of our home for one week. This time, they repaired the damaged section only and the subfloor. Why didn't they replace the damaged flooring only the first time, other than charging my insurance company much more? They charged my insurance company again and my insurance company paid them again to replace the subflooring they were already paid to do the first time. Even if they were not paid to replace the subfloor the first time, they installed good flooring over the rotted subfloor? I repeat, my pictures of the subfloor rot are identical, before they replaced the floor, and after. When I read their first question, "Restoring Property and Lives with a servant's heart", I think of Christians, but they must mean something else. read more

I am a homeowner in a highrise condominium Uptown, and a recent client of Jenkins Restoration. I wanted to take a moment to simply applaud the Jenkins team for the superior customer service shown during the recent misfortune of having water damage in my condo. Working in this industry, managing the reconstruction and repairs to an individual's residence, similar and much more severe than mine, is part of their day to day. When it comes to the homeowner, any situation that impacts your normal day to day, is disruptive and stressful. What is perceived as devastating to one, may seem minor to another, and going into this process, I did not feel that my repairs would be deemed as "extreme" in comparison to those related to a fire or natural disaster, so I expected them to be treated as such. I must say, the ENTIRE Jenkins team made me feel that my pending repairs were a priority. From the onset, where I was visited by their team and explained how the process would work, up until the day that my condo was being put back together as repairs were in the finals stages of being completed, I received red carpet treatment! Mitigation Technician, Graham Gourley was onsite almost the entire day, ensure that I was okay, that no question I had was unanswered, providing bottled water to me and my parents who were visiting, and checked in a number of times, just making sure all was well. Project Manager, Joe Birkmeyer was ever so helpful, making himself available to answer all questions, even those that may not have been related to the repairs, utilizing his knowledge and industry experience to guide and direct me, as this was a first time experience for me. No matter what the hour of the day or evening, Joe was always extremely quick to respond, and always made me feel at ease with any issue that I faced, or question I might have. Toy was friendly and very efficient in overseeing the packing, storing, delivery and cleaning of my home, and was also very responsive when I reached out after hours with a request to access my personal belongings that were in storage. I met Drew on location at their Matthews facility, as he coordinated the access to the storage facility, and worked with me to faciliate the pick up of an item that I desired to sell, prior to moving it back into my home. I could go on and on about how every member of the Jenkins team went over and above to make what could have been an unpleasant and dreadful experience, a positive one! They displayed professionalism, dedication to ensuring that repairs were completely in a timely manner, and most importantly provided excellent customer service in making ME feel cared for and a priority throughout the entire process, like I was a VIP client!
