In addition, she charged me two dollars MORE than the already inflated price stated on the menu WITHOUT EVEN A HINT OF EXPLANATION! $18 for a tiny portion of rotten ceviche. At payout she asked for $20 without batting an eye. If this is how they treat people, especially those who approach them in good faith, then I wouldn't trust them with anything that comes out of their roach coach. We had some great coffees, superbly sophisticated lavender tea and bowls of hot homemade soup. The owner and staff -are very friendly and helpful! We watched the owner go out of her way to get cheerios for a picky toddler customer. We were visiting Cordova and staying at a small place with no fresh coffee, so went looking around town or good quality ground coffee beans for the coffee maker. The amazing staff were so kind to fix us some fresh ground beans even though they dont sell it. They carry whole bean from Ravens brew -the local coffee bean roastery that comes packaged in interesting bags and names that can make lovely takeaway gifts for family and friends. Would recommend this local secret as a must-stop for those visiting Cordova!
