You know a photographer seriously wants to capture the best pictures of your baby if they want you…read moreto come back when baby is fed, well slept, and happy. For some reason things just didn't align well with my baby's naps and feedings that day so it was hard to manage a tired baby but they managed to get real good photos of my baby and the family. My baby didn't really smile much yet but they were still able to get smiling pictures of her too. Very professional and works so hard to get the best pictures. I was truly grateful for this studio and loved my experience. Also the picture quality was amazing!! The backgrounds were cute and the clothes were so adorable too!! The price point is reasonable and I'd say cheaper than some others for a better quality. I think the turn around time to receive the photos were faster than we expected too. Truly appreciate working with this photographer. He really seems to love what he does and we are blessed with these amazing photos!!! Couple things to note/tips: 1. Go when your baby can smile. Yes after their neck strength gets way better too. My baby still can't really smile yet and she's 4 months old. I really wanted to push having 100 day photos when she was 3.5 months old so neck strength and expressions aren't expected. 1a. Also go when your baby is well fed, pooped, rested, good condition, etc. makes a world of difference. 2. They give you a looooot of photos to choose from. Be prepared to be pleasantly overwhelmed with photos. If you get decision fatigue then ask your spouse to help. Cause I loved getting the full gamut of photos. 3. They have a wardrobe but if you want your baby to wear something specific, bring it! Their wardrobe is pretty cute tho and fits with their backgrounds. 4. They have set backgrounds to choose from in their studio. The backgrounds are really cute but if you're looking for something specific, unique, tailored to you, the studio setting might not be for you. But tbh all 100 day, dohl, event photos basically look the same...so I would think it's odd to expect something different. I've seen tons of beach engagement pics. Tons of dohl pics with the same backgrounds and balloons. So why complain about a studio pic with similar styles and backgrounds or lack of variety? You're already the unique and different baby/family. So there's that. 5. Bring a toy or something that can get your baby's attention. I realized belatedly my baby likes to stare at herself in the mirror. She also likes her little fox doll. If your baby has a preference for a toy, perhaps being prepared like that will help with the experience! 6. Match your clothes with your family and partner beforehand. Clothes, accessories and shoes too so they look cohesive in the photos! Belatedly realized my husband's shoes didn't match any of our family's and my son's also seemed a little too bright. Oh well. Overall I loved the photos! Thank you again for the awesome and kind experience!!!

We were especially impressed with how well they worked with our very active one-year-old. We stopped by on a weekday in the late afternoon and practically had the place to ourselves. Another family arrived shortly after, but it was still very relaxed and easygoing. The process was super simple. You can make a reservation, but we just walked in without any issues. We did the white background setup for 15 minutes, which was perfect and definitely a must if you're taking photos with little kids. There were a few technical difficulties during our session, but the staff member was incredibly accommodating. He paused the timer and gave us those minutes back so we didn't lose any of our shoot time. The pricing is great too! The package includes 2 people and 3 printed 4x6 photos of your favorite shots. Additional people are only $5 each, but they didn't charge us for our toddler or newborn, which was such a nice surprise. One of the best parts is that you get access to download every single digital photo from your session, not just a select few. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and ended up with so many great family photos. definitely considering coming back for another shoot

The parking lot is consistently busy, so finding a spot can be a hit or miss. Ambiance/Environment: The studio is located inside the AR Gallery. Once you enter the AR Gallery, you'll see the studio on your right. They have an extremely small space with two rooms. One room features white walls, and the other room features colored backgrounds. There's many props from headbands and hats to chairs and stools and more! Some props can use a cleaning, but you can't really see it in the photos. Service: I decided to do a walk-in, so I didn't book an appointment or prepay online. They only take walk-ins starting at 11:30. They're not busy on weekdays but busier during the weekends. I completely forgot his name, but the worker that checked me in was nice, efficient, and knowledgable about the offerings. They provide a large screen with gridlines, lighting, and a small remote. They'll give you a timer, so you'll know exactly how much time you have left during your session. Studio Session & Photos: I chose the 5 minute session with the colored background. You'd choose two colors out of five options. Since I chose the colored walls, let the worker know when you're ready to switch colors. They'll pause the timer, switch the background, and continue the timer. The small remote is easy to hide in the photos. The lighting is perfect, and the photos came out amazing! Pricing: All details and prices are on their website. It's easy to book an appointment online. Since my birthday was three days away, the worker gave me a 10% discount. They also offer other discounts. All details are listed on their website. Highly recommend this studio!

Truth be told....I write this with a bit of a tear in my eye....not to get too melodramatic over a…read moreyelp review....but pictures...when done perfect and if your in a particular sentimental mood....can have that effect. Some backstory...Imagix/Michelle has done our yearly photos for our son from ages 1 to now 5. (See my past reviews). From somehow capturing a perfect moment from our perpetually moving blur of a son (ages 1-3) to patiently instructing four 70/80 year olds on how to hold their aforementioned 4 year old Tasmanian Devil grandson last year, Michelle is a magician/artist...I always leave the photoshoot stressed from the chaos Hurricane Daniel (our son) leaves in his wake....But every year we come back to look at the proofs and are amazed at Michelle ability to capture "lighting in a bottle" . This year was no different. Fortunately we survived the terrible 2's (...3's....4's....) and thanks to time, maturity, and the opposite of gentle parenting, our little Daniel, though far from perfect, is manageable. But we didn't want to make it too easy for Michelle, so we threw in another variable. After a recent canine cancer scare, and recently learning from Google that all dogs, however loyal and cute, unfortunately have an inescapable life, span, I somehow convinced my beautiful but camera shy wife that this is the year we do a family photo with our dog. Some more backstory, if you read this far, our Yorkie, Libby, loves us but HATES the rest of the world. She spent the entire hour photoshoot in perpetual scowl and Volume 11 non stop bark. One week later as she always does, lighting in a bottle perfection. I looked at the proofs with amazement. Our son, we expected....she's done it every year, but how she made a loud perpetual yapping bark into a impossibly cute smile is above my skill set. But I think her greatest feat is how she lessened the "he must be rich" looks gap between my wife and I. My wife is easy, even me with my amateur Android skills, it's hard for her to take a bad picture. Michelle mastery came with how she elevated me to "he must be funny" looks gap level. So why the tear? We loved one of the pics so much we purchased a large framed canvas print to hang on our living room wall. My 85 year old happened to be in town for his grandsons 5th bday so I asked him for an helping hand hanging the picture. I figured he has these family portrait hanging at my childhood home. My brother and I with our full head of hair and my mom shoulder pads captured the 90's to a tee...but what I always remember is the "proud" look my dad had on his face. A look of accomplishment shouting "look at me world and all that I love and created". Watching my aging dad struggle, listing to my aging dog bark in a locked room to protect my dad's ankles, I was suddenly reminded that time, as much as you want to hit pause, always moves forward. It's a good idea to stop and smell the roses, or in this case, look at the snapshot/memories/moments and take it all in. After my dad handed me the leveler and I put away the hammer, and I looked up....and yeah....I had that "Dad" look

I've never done a boudoir shoot before, and wanted to dive into the headspace of what is sexy. I wanted to challenge myself to feel sexy beyond the surface means of lingerie and poses. From our session together, Georgia GETS that. It's in the little things, like so many things. See more of my experiment here: http://getinthelab.me/from-my-boudoir-lessons-on-self-acceptance-femininity-and-sexiness/ Georgia came to our house, while my fiancé had flown out to SF so that we had full reign of the house. She helped me apply makeup and we got to know each other on a closer and more womanly level. It was so much fun to get out my head and just be directed by Georgia. Georgia's vision to create something that makes you "uncomfortable" was interesting. Being uncomfortable isn't a bad thing as it sounds, but a state of being intrigued, curious and even a little daring. After my experience, I recommend doing such a liberating thing, not because you want to present your future husband with some pretty pictures, but because you have every right to feel beautiful and have fun with your body in the way that you want to. For me it's about self-acceptance. I took my photos when I wasn't in the best shape, my skin was breaking out AND I was on my period. But it didn't matter. I had fun, I let go and it was absolutely safe to be myself in front of Georgia. I believe every woman should experience this for themselves.

She walks you through every pose and really makes sure that your comfortable. It honestly felt like I was with a girlfriend, laughing and having fun. And because of this, Georgia was really able to capture my personality, which made the pictures come out THAT much better! I would model for her any day of the week! All in all, I have nothing but the utmost respect for Georgia and her work. She is truly one of a kind!!
