The owner/jeweler put it into an ultrasonic bath which is a bath machine for jewelry that uses high-frequency vibrations in liquid to shake dirt loose, but it can also shake stones out of older, fragile settings. So more stones fell out after doing this. I was then told to pay for reseating all three, even though only one was missing when I dropped it off. Polishing was also started without my consent. When I questioned why an ultrasonic was used on such an old piece, the owner told me I "don't know s**t" and brushed the ring off saying it was probably made in Asia. The whole experience was strange and disappointing with hidden charges, and unprofessional conduct. It is unfortunate since I had very great service with the lady previously who always helped me with my watches, but after this unpleasant experience, I will not be returning.
