Both systems were functioning just fine, EXCEPT for some reason after the technician left the Honeywell Provison Series 8000 thermostat started to malfunction. The next day it just went blank. (Hmmm.....coincidence or causation?....just saying) The technician came back and said the thermostat was defective and he could change it out then and there as he had one ($590) in his truck. I figured it was under warranty so why not and the technician said I would "get my money back, well most of it". RED FLAG - I should have asked for an explanation. So my card was charged for $590. The office just called and said they credited back to my card $343! and they pocketed $247!! (for "shipping and labor"). So be wary and very careful if you have hired them, but if you are not locked into a Maintenance Agreement I suggest you call another HVAC company.

While they were out service tech suggested thinking about replacement in the future as unit was 16 years old. Requested an estimate to replace, Eric came out and did a site survey and provide a proposal to replace unit. Fast forward to year later the unit was under high stress due to prolong heat wave. Eric stuck by the proposal he gave me a year earlier and the crew was out in quick time to replace. Not a typical project as it involved a crane to get condenser unit to the roof of a four story building. The install team were professional and extremely knowledgeable. Performed the work at a high quality level and were done in a day.

I didn't know what the underling conditions were, but just knew that it was an emergency. It happened in the evening and I needed someone to come out immediately. That same day, I called Bernard at 4:30pm, just for him to instantly respond, and come over to my home by 6pm! He was able to properly evaluate the issue, give me a full diagnosis of the issue, and provided me a solution that would not only guaranteed my home's restoration but was also extremely cost efficient! I had 3 rooms in my home that's were all connected on the same circuit breaker (very old home) causing constant power overloads constantly and wire burn outs. Bernard, said that he would separate these rooms into different breakers on my panel. (E.g, I needed a minor heavy up for my electric panel) He quoted me an insanely good price for labor AND materials. He gave a breakdown of where he would buy the materials, the exact amount each one would cost, and gave me a step by step break down of how he would fix my issue. His professionality was on point with all of our conversations whenever I had confusion about something or needed clarification. He fixed everything all within a one day stretch. It's insane how I found this guy, and I'm beyond surprised he only has 1 review. I can without a doubt say this is my go too electrician now in the DMV area, you won't be disappointed.
