One of my garage door openers had a wire that had ripped in half and caused the door to not open and close properly. On a Saturday, I called and emailed Emergency Door Services to obtain an estimate and to set up an appointment to do the repair (NOT an emergency situation). Within a couple of hours, the cheerful-sounding employee Ray replied to me and said that a service technician would call me to set up an appointment. On Sunday, the service technician called me and said that he would arrive at my house on Monday to do the repair. On Monday, the service technician arrived at my house on time. I think that his name was George, and he had a nice personality. He said that splicing together the wire did not fix the problem and that I needed to completely replace my old garage door opener with a new one. He recommended that I purchase either a LiftMaster or a Chamberlain garage door opener with a belt drive. I went on a home improvement store's website to find a new garage door opener, and then I emailed the link to Ray to get his opinion about the quality. Ray replied that the product looked good, so I bought it, and Ray set up an appointment for another service technician to install two garage door openers. (We decided to replace both rather than just one so they matched.) The next day, the service technician Greg showed up at my house on time. Greg also had a nice personality. He said that the installation of the two garage door openers would take 1.5 hours or so and would cost $280 ($140 each). When he had completed the installation, he showed me how to program my numeric codes into the keypads and how to use the up and down switches, lights, and remote controllers. The two garage doors opened and closed smoothly and easily. He also reminded me to fill out the warranty cards.

We recently replaced our terrible garage door - we have been remodeling and updating this property…read moreand the garage door and porch were the last outside projects to get done before winter. The goal was to get a high quality door and modern opener that would operate with zero issues, insulate the garage and basement from winter and summer extremes, and allow for remote operation via remote or internet. We immediately eliminated the big box stores as we targeted owner operated companies with good reputations and high quality products. After quoting and discussing door replacement with four companies we chose Revamp based on responsiveness, range + quality of doors and openers, reputation, and the straightforward, honest and knowledgeable owner - Charles Anderson. Charles asked detailed questions about what we wanted and what was most important. He also took the time to do a thorough examination of the existing structure and went over his recommendations for correcting the existing structure to properly install the door while improving the appearance and providing a slightly wider opening. The written quote listed all products, steps and costs including labor with an estimate of the lumber and trim that would be required to correct all issues. Charles kept us up to date on the schedule as the install date approached so we were never in the dark on the installation date. Installation was performed on the dates promised by Charles and Csaba and receipts for lumber and trim required to reframe were given to us for reimbursement at costs as agreed. These are hard working craftsmen that are rare in our experience. Needless to say, the installation is flawless, they left the garage and area cleaner than when they arrived, and the transformation is more than we hoped for. I have attached photos of the before and after - please note the multiple canoe framing and trim on the left side of the old door vs the clean and even look of the new framing. Also -what appears to be smudges on the door is rain / dirt on my phone - the door is spotless. If you need a simple door replacement or a complete makeover, we would absolutely recommend Revamp if you care about quality product, excellent customer service, and no BS honesty from your supplier.

While here, they pointed out that the mortar around my chimeny was in bad shape and that they could also take care of that. Matt had me meet with Vinny, who walked the house with me. Not only did they clean, repoint, and then seal the entire house, they also fixed my shed roof, which had taken severe wind damage and fixed the concrete on my front porch that was disintegrating. To say they went above and beyond doesn't do them justice. I know this sounds like an ad, but it's not. All I know is, if I need work done on my house, I know who I'm calling.

I needed a roof repaired over my back porch to repair a leak that getting a new roof from another…read moreroofing company had not fixed and working with that other company to fix the issue became apparent they didn't know what they were doing. What i have learned trying to get other roofing companies to come out to do an estimate is that 1) most roofers only put on new roofs and 2) roofers don't want to touch someone else's work and if they do give an estimate for a repair they won't guarantee that the work and cost actually will fix my leak. So, I am very thankful I found out about J P Roofing. Not only are they experts at roof repairs, 1) they did not try to sell me yet another new roof, 2) they (Joe, the owner) said he knew he and his team could fix it, 3) Joe himself called me and was actively involved in the process of estimating what was necessary to repair my roof leak. They did what they said they would do, were responsive, cleaned up afterwards, and did all the work without my having to be home. Most importantly, I have a roof that no longer leaks. So, thanks to Joe, several Mike's on the team, and their whole staff. They have my highest recommendation and pricing was fair.
