They did this and said that it would work. The people who came to install the new garage door, seemed to be in a hurry to finish since they felt that it was getting late. They did not have all of the necessary pieces but said that it was just cosmetic and that they would return once they had the necessary piece. They assured us that the door was functional and that we could use it. After a few days, part of the door separated from the main part. We called and a guy came out to fix it. In the mean time we discovered that they had not put in a number of necessary screws to hold part of the door. When I asked the service person why he had not installed the screws, he said that the manufacturer must not have included the screws and that it was not his job to check to make sure that the manufacturer had put in screws. However he had screws and agreed to put them in. He said that the parts of the door had separated because we had opened and closed the garage door. I pointed out that the whole point of a garage door was to open and close it. Even after he said that he had installed the screws, my husband checked and showed him that a screw was still missing. We have insisted that a supervisor from A 1 come out and go over the entire assembly to make sure that nothing else is missing.

Also told me he would slide on a new $22 rubber seal at the bottom of the door for $100. So $1350! Their website and YouTube channel clear say that this project would require a 1/2 horse power unit. Bought a 1/2 hp at Lowe's for $200 and they installed it for $300. It took them an hour. I slid my own rubber seal on the bottom (bought on Amazon for $22) $550 vs $1350. Do your homework!
