He ordered the surgery within 30 days of his initial evaluation, and surgery occured Dec10 at Swift Surgery Ctr. The nurses and staff at Swift were amazing also. Pre-surgery fear was alleviated by the supporting nurses, pre and post care staff. After reading other reviews, we don't get it because the experience with Dr Lough was amazing, professional, and incredibly efficient at helping with improving his quality of life, sleep, concentration, energy, and breathing. She was extremely nervous about the appointment and was visibly shaking when Dr. Lough entered the room. Rather than helping put her at ease, the interaction felt cold and dismissive from the start. When I explained her anxiety, his response came across as sarcastic rather than reassuring. Throughout the visit, I felt that both my concerns and my daughter's concerns were minimized. When I shared observations about her symptoms and experiences from speaking with other parents, I was told that I was "saying a lot of right things, but also a lot of wrong things." The comment felt unnecessarily condescending and immediately shut down what should have been a collaborative discussion. The examination itself was very brief. Dr. Lough noted that my daughter has large tonsils and suggested that she may simply need to "grow into them." While I understand that surgery is not always the appropriate solution, I was hoping for a more thorough discussion about possible causes, treatment options, next steps, or what symptoms we should continue monitoring. Instead, I left feeling as though our concerns were dismissed. What disappointed me most was the lack of bedside manner. Medical expertise is important, but so is communication, especially when working with children who are already anxious about a medical appointment. My daughter commented on the way she was treated as soon as we got back to the car, which reinforced my own concerns about the interaction. He is a resource and a calm voice of guidance and action with difficult health issues. I can thank him for the ability to hear after suffering from an undiagnosed mastoiditis infection. I had suffered from dozens of ear infections throughout my life, but two years ago, this one felt different. I had been treated by my primary care doctor and had even gone to urgent care when vertigo, hearing loss, and pain increased despite treatment. Dr. Hudson's receptionist got me in for an appointment quickly. After a brief exam, interview, and in-office CT scan, I was diagnosed with a mastoid infection and scheduled for a surgical procedure. Three weeks into the infection, with conventional antibiotics not effective, I had a 50 decibel differential between ears (one infected, one not). My hearing was not restored after the surgery and took months to return and heal. It was a scary time but I knew everything had been done to ensure my best chance of recovery. Without Dr. Hudson's intervention I am certain I would have suffered permanent hearing damage and progression of the infection. Dr. Hudson has managed complex and challenging conditions for my loved ones, each condition requiring a different set of skills and knowledge. Not only does Dr. Hudson have outstanding technical skill and uses innovative yet scientifically grounded approaches to all ENT conditions, he genuinely cares for his patients. When I brought it up at my follow-up appointment, not only did he have no recollection of my first visit and believed he was meeting me for the first time, but he also did not know anything about the alarming diagnosis he had entered himself. Even though it was mildly aligned with my symptoms, he claimed he thinks he entered it by mistake, that everything "looked fine," and was once again sent on my way today. I know something is going on with my ear, and I'm looking forward to seeing an actual specialist who will take the time to evaluate me properly or, at the very minimum, have context from our first visit together. I always knew I was in the best hands. I got a Septoplasty, turbinate reduction, and rhinoplasty. I've never been able to breathe well out of my nose, so Dr. Watson walked me through every single option for me. Surgery ended up being the best option and I am so grateful I went through with it. I added on cosmetic rhinoplasty and Dr. Watson did a fantastic job with both the cosmetic portion and the structural portion and is extremely knowledgeable about the ins and outs of the nose. With how quickly I'm recovering, I can tell how meticulous, gentle and detail-oriented he was with my nose in the surgery. After just one week, all of my bruising and swelling is gone. I got my cast and splints off and out of my nose 5 days post-op and was immediately able to breathe. INSANE!! And already LOVING the shape. Dr. Watson knew exactly what I wanted without me even having to over-explain. Highly recommend going with him for surgery or any other services you are looking for. The only option offered was a terrible medication that once you stop taking it makes your symptoms worse, which I do not feel is an adequate or comprehensive solution for my situation, and no other treatment pathways or diagnostic alternatives were discussed. I left the appointment without clarity, direction, or any actionable plan. Overall, I found the visit unproductive and not a worthwhile use of my time. He's just a ENT plastic surgeon I believe, how I got referred to him is a complete mystery.

After 5 yrs of not seeing Dr. West we call his office to schedule a appt. for the wife and they schedule, take her in for an initial visit, reschedule her for a second visit to go over the tests from the first visit. My wife takes time off work to go to the Appt. only to be asked back in the billing office and told unless she pays a back payment from 2007 of $347 they will not be seeing her today. They apparently sent us to collections in 07' yet we did not get any bills or collection notices from them, we offer to make payments on it and they refuse saying it was not there acct. anymore contact the collection agency. On top of which in 2008 with heavy economic pressures and lack of work we filed chp 7 and all collection debt was discharged. I know they have the right to see who they want, but they could have told us in advance that this was an issue before scheduling the appt. and or called us to let us know they would not be seeing my wife so she did not have to take time off work only to be told go away. This kind of office management only brings down the great work Dr. West does with his patients.
