So let me be clear this office had to contend with what many including this office say this is the bigger post they have ever seen The procedure took two visits over 6 total hours. They kept me comfortable and at ease the entire time. The doctor said I won't give up until you want me to and he never did. To that end he was able to successfully retreat my root canal. Very professional and gentle, Dr. Fowler sat next to me and explained the X-rays previously taken at my dentist's office and, after thorough examination, explained my options. The office staff is very kind, knowledgeable and effient. They were able to contact my insurance and get it set for the end of the year. Dr Melissa Pysnak is all of the above and much much more. I have never been in the hands of such a superior, remarkable and outstanding dentist. She is a patient and truly caring and kind person. My tooth was a two hour proceedure that was completed by Dr. Pysnak and the very competent medical staff. This was done with NO pain during or after the proceedure while I was watching My Greek Wedding on a overhead TV. I am overwhelmed wth gratitude for them. I have never written one of these before but had to. she bullied us into pano X-rays before and now tried to force us to do check up X-rays on my daughter who is in braces and just had some at the orthodontist. yes different kinds of X-rays but the ortho told us this would be okay for this year. so I said no X-rays and then she said well we cannot clean her teeth then. she has been seen every couple months by the ortho who would have seen something and she had her wires in. I might have given in but she was so so rude about it. she was also the one who forced us to do panos and said they can see cavities with them. but then why can they not use the pano the ortho did to detect X-rays. seems to me we were lied to in getting the pano. hi h was also the visit they didn't even have a dentist at all because he moved and the new one was there yet. so we felt like they needed to generate more money so forced the pano which is more expensive. her reasoning like I said was oh we can detect cavities and other things. so again why could our that they made money off of detect cavities but not the ones the ortho did. Her demeaning attitude and blasé care of us when I said we will be leaving the practice then said it all. oh and I was a dental assistant for 15 years so it isn't like I am stupid to dental needs. I get Idaho has something where you have to have them yearly but my daughter did have them. so bottom line I do not recommend this office because of the manager. that and every time I had a dental cleaning and I set mine up six months in advance I would be told they didn't have a hygienist that day and they didn't even try to make it work on a day I could do. then I finally did a date that wasn't good for me and got cancelled on again.

We all dread having a root canal, eh? Well, dread no more! Liz (the dental assistant), Jared (the intern) and Dr. Mardsen were fantastic, and took great pains to make sure that I felt no pain. Even the numbing injections were painless. It was just amazing! My tooth gave them some difficulty, as it already had a crown that had to be drilled, and three roots to be cleaned out. The crown was done 11 years ago, and calcium had built up underneath, so that made it difficult to find the root canals. But they proceeded slowly and conservatively so that the tooth wouldn't loose any more structure than necessary so that it would remain strong. I also saw some new (to me) technology in use , like the ohmmeter used to detect root canal length. The procedure took a long time, due to the abundance of caution, and after awhile I was regaining some feeling, and I got another painless injection into the jaw. Jared and Dr Mardsen were really good at keeping me informed during the procedure. For me it was actually fun because I learned so much! I am writing this review the day after, and I have no pain at all. And now I don't have to be careful when drinking a cold beverage! This team is obviously dedicated to patient comfort and work together to give the best possible outcome.

When I arrived there they wanted to do X-rays which I refused because I didn't want to pay for them. That was fine, the assistant re-glued my temporary bridge in and was having a problem with it setting but said it should be fine, I was never told they wanted to charge me for the re-gluing, it fell out 3 hours later. Now, I keep getting text messages that you are unable to reply too stating I owe $125 for my visit. When I call I can't get ahold of anyone... I'm frustrated and confused. I refuse to pay anything. I hope this dentist office stands by its advertisement.
