It was hands down the worst dental experience I've had. I told her I require more numbing juice than most and she wouldn't give me any more after I was saying I was in pain. I alerted the assistant that I was in pain and the dentist kept going. The temporary crown fell off two days after it was put on and the permanent doesn't fit my night guard that I wear. Ever since this procedure that side of my mouth has been painful to chew on. Makes me wonder if I actually needed the procedure or if they needed the money, it wasnt cheap. That's when the scare campaign began. The connection between oral health and heart health got pretty dramatic. He went into salesman mode! Made me feel like I had to take immediate action beginning with x-rays. Didn't go there for x-rays! But I agreed to the x-rays. following x-rays cavities were found. Wasn't confident that I even had cavities. More salesman mode! I went ahead reluctantly with filling 4 cavaties. Long story short the work he preformed was sloppy and my bite was altered in a bad way and will never be the same. I now have to take tiny bites and chew very carefully or I will bite the inside of my cheek on one side or the other. In the end he blamed the problem on me and said his work was perfect. His staff is very good at what they do but Dr. Hayhurst is a way better salesman that he is a dentist! If you're thinking about going to him don't !!!! Find a different dentist.
