Let me begin by saying the care and the work these folks do are first rate. They will work with your insurance and are fairly priced. That being said, their hours of service are not working-person friendly. If you need a crown or some other major work, you will need to take time off from work because they don't have the correct staffing to perform these services after 2PM. I took time off from work for a 2:30 appointment for a permanent crown seating and received a call to reschedule for some excuse (I don't even remember what) but it pushed the appointment out well over a week. As a result my employer is frustrated, I am frustrated, and the person on the other end of the phone is completely oblivious to the fact that not everyone has unlimited time off. I am currently seeking a more user-friendly dentist. read more

I took my son here after my husband had a great experience with Dr. Hammer! Dr. Summer helped my son. She was her nice and helpful when it came to taking my sons tooth out. She personally called me to see how my son was doing today a day after he got his tooth out to see how he was doing There staff is nice and they all know how to serve there clients. Today's Dentistry in Nampa, ID., is a dental office that I went to three times. The last time I went was to have two cavities filled. They informed me that my Medicare Dental insurance would not cover the cost of this. I paid - out of my pocket - around $250 I believe. So, I thought I would try another dental office and did just that for my next dental appointment and I went to Southridge Dental for that per a recommendation of an acquaintance of mine. Oddly enough, during my first visit to Southridge Dental, I was told that I had the exact same problem (two new cavities) and yet Southridge Dental told me the cost (roughly $230) WAS covered by my Medicare dental insurance. And that was confirmed by the insurance company. So not only was Today's Dentistry incorrect about my insurance company's (Blue Cross of Idaho) dental coverage - which ended up costing me $250 out of my own pocket - but they were also more expensive by about $20. And as I recall when I got the statement from the insurance company it said the dental insurance I had would have been paid up to $270 for this dental procedure (for filling two cavities). read more

Last year I had dental work done at the Nampa office and they took my Molina insurance MasterCard as payment on the spot. Easy! Oh, but today, this year, I walk in to get more work done and, NNNOOOO, no way would they even touch me, which I don't understand, me just being a normal dumb consumer...they, saying that I have "medi-cade", like it's some evil contagious disease or something.?. Screw them, then, so I called Nampa Dental center and they're just fine with it all like it's an EASY piece of cake, no problem, and I'll see them at 1:30 pm today!!! Yay for them! Today was my first visit. I was very impressed with every service I received beginning with the appointment process. Checkin was a snap, since the forms were available online and I had them filled out in advance. I've never had such a thorough exam or x-rays like I received today. They caught a small cavity and were able to fix it in my same visit. Their dental payment plan makes going to the dentist more affordable and also helps with budgeting since their discount prices are known in advance. My husband was searching for a dentist in Nampa near our home. He has severe dental phobia after not visiting a dentist for over 5 years. I called the office to schedule an appointment for him. My first interaction with the person who answered the phone was fantastic - she was very pleasant and informative, and totally understood his fear of the dentist! She informed me that the providers here are all familiar with that type of patient. The hygienist was friendly and frequently checked with him ("are you ok?") as she was performing the deep cleaning, all the while chatting to distract him from any anxiety. I am writing this to warn others about going to this office. My husband used to go here for his routine dental needs. They had a hard time figuring out how to bill his two dental insurances and he would always have to make several follow up calls until they could get it right. This would happen after every visit so he decided to change dentists and has never had any problems since and has the same insurance. Fast forward a few years and we decide to give the office another try for my son since he was so busy with school we needed the Saturday appointments so he could get his cleanings. Well, that was a big mistake because they still have issues with insurance. I was given misinformation from two different staff members about how they would bill for the anesthesia for his wisdom teeth extractions. They actually won't bill for anesthesia! I ended up submitting the claim myself to the insurance and the insurance paid and stated I did not owe the provider. The office is still making me pay the difference from the contracted rate and the billed rate. That is over $200! I will not be going back ever again. read more

Been going here for 3 years. They build crowns they use next door. I have had to get them to replace 2 different ones they made because they fall apart. Money is of great concern here. Before any work is done, while your still in the chair, they have you sign a promissory note for the total cost of the repair or service. They always want more than your co-pay. This way you are always having a large credit balance with them. They act upset that you want a refund for the difference. Yesterday I showed up for a scheduled cleaning and I was told that I didn't have an appointment. I had been sent a post card and a text message. THAT WAS ENOUGH. read more

The dentists and assistants and hygienists seem really good. The billing office/front desk are totally incompetent. They continually mess things up are really quite cold and seem to make basic billing mistakes as though they have no insurance or billing training at all. read more

I needed an emergency extraction. The staff was very helpful and gentle (for scaredy cats like myself). The only thing I would have them change is post extraction instructions. I have been coming here since I was a little girl. Recently I got dental insurance and decided to take my family to fimilar territory. The building is very artistically pleasing. And the dentist and hygienist are amazing fantastic, especially Brittany she is so personable and enjoyable. I gave this a 3 star rating because of the front receptionist... Every time I have come in for an appointment her attitude is absolutely awful. She is not personable what so ever and she is the reason I will be taking my business elsewhere. She is the first and last face you see when visiting this establishment... And her attitude has spoiled my experience 10 fold. If you have a tolerance for rude costumer service by all means head that way.... They also do not offer payments on dental procedures. For the working family's with high deductibles this is very inconvenient. There's no dental perks or incentives either. I am just not a fan. read more

Avoid at all cost, They get you in the building with the free x-rays then overcharge and over sell you and if you dont have good insurance and are in pain they make you suffer with pain and wont perform any pocedures. Poor customer service and shady billing practices. Poor management. I attempted to have a billing error corrected in the office and the manager proceeded to argue with me and belittle me at the front desk and refused to let me see the billing invoices. I filed a compliant with the BBB and she accused me of yelling at her, which I did not do at any time. She denied any wrong doing and proceeded to try to make me look bad again by lying about what happened. In her response to the BBB she said I would get a refund, but it was never issued. read more
