If you have not had the chance to get your dentistry done by Colleen Jarvis, I would say that is unfortunate. Dr. Jarvis and her team do an excellent job with preventative maintenance on your teeth and are excellent when you need something done. If you have a crown or a filling, these guys are total professionals, and give you great quality care. You are in good hands whether you are with the staff upfront, the hygienist or the doctor. As a sidenote, if you need any orthodontia her husband, Jake Jarvis can fix your teeth and make them all straight. I did that as well and he did an excellent job. 50 some years and my teeth are perfect now. Recommended !! read more

I've been going for years. Docs are great and most of the hygienists are too. However, I've had one too many grumpy dealings with a couple employees that I think it's time to move a long as I don't see a way to directly communicate with the owners. read more

Just had my second cleaning and exam at Jarvis Dental. Each hygienist has been wonderful, and they use the cavitron for the majority of the cleaning which is nice. I haven't had any restorative work, but Dr. Colleen did an exam and oral cancer screening both times I was in and never seems rushed. I see Dr. Jacob for ortho visits, so I'm glad I can do my general and ortho treatment at one office! read more

I haven't been to the dentist in a few years, okay more like 3 or 4. Jarvis dental was very accommodating and friendly considering all the work they had to do just to get these chompers of mine clean again. I had an appointment in May and they sent me a text that a spot came open. I called right away and they got me in the same day. Sara who did the cleaning had her work cutout but was awesome the whole time. She was concerned about my comfort and doing the best job. She always told me what to expect during each step of the cleaning. Kudos to a job well done. I have been taking my family to Dr. Jarvis since we moved to Idaho 3 years ago. All services were okay, not blown away with amazing customer service, not bad service just okay. The reason I will be finding a new dentist is due to the service I received last, very poor. A job change meant I had no dental coverage, my wife took my kids and herself for cleaning and check up. My wife informed them we no longer had dental insurance and we would be paying ourselves. The office still sent to insurance company, and guess what, it was denied. Dr. Jarvis' office then began calling for payment, ok, it happens. I talked to office staff and was told bill was past due, and that insurance was denied. I told the office send the bill to me and I would pay ASAP, they said ok, will do. They continued to call my home like I was trying to skip out on the bill, that they never sent me!!! I know have bill, will send payment, and find a new dentist. I hope that Dr. Jarvis reads and reviews her companies policies on how the engage customers. And 1 more thing......... THEY ARE NOT OPEN ON FRIDAY'S.... This has driven me crazy for 3 years because that is the best day for me to do appointments. read more

Dr. Jarvis is a wonderful family dentist. They have been great with the whole family especially my kids. Our youngest had been very terrified of the dentist and their tools. Until we went here and she finally let them use tools in her mouth and now had let them do everything they need to in there. It has been a very great experience. read more

Do not use this office! Nothing good to say. Over charged. Billed for a missed appointment even though it wasn't correct on their end. All they want it extra money and they will get you where they can. They fixed my front tooth and a week later it chipped again then charged me full price even though they didn't do it right the first time. read more

Alright. Nobody like going to the dentist. Myself included. This place, however, is the exception! Having just moved to Boise from California, I took a serious gamble and chose the first dentist on my insurance list. It turns out that I made an excellent choice. Upon arrival, the office staff was a pure joy to work with - not your typical receptionist. They took the time to get everything squared away for me and saved me from a bunch of hassle finding my insurance information. To make things even better, the office was absolutely beautiful. Modern, well decorated and very comfortable. When I was checked into the exam room, I was immediately seen by Dr. Jarvis. IMMEDIATELY! Dr. Jarvis and her team were seriously the best medical providers I've ever worked with. Super polite, funny, genuine and above all, gentle. The staff constantly checked to be sure that I was comfortable. Without the sales pitch from usual dentists, I got a realistic treatment plan - both for immediate correction and long-term preventative measures. Dr. Crowley Jarvis is very gentle and has always put everyone in our family at ease when we visit. Our youngest started seeing Dr. Crowley Jarvis when she was 3 and was very comfortable going by herself immediately. Between the five of us we've had extractions, fillings, crowns and a root canal and we always felt the recommendations for these services was appropriate. The staff is very friendly and helpful with insurance questions. The hygienists and dental assistants are conscientious and want to accommodate any needs or concerns you have, too. read more

All they want is your money, They will give you an estimate and then the estimate will be 30% off. When you call them up they will blame your Insurance and not care for the long standing customer. This is a reasonable place. There was a person I knew that went there. They rebuilt this person's mouth. This person's teeth were rotting away ftom the alcoholism and meth use. The amount spent was about $7,000 to do this and it was a beautiful job. One problem for me. Some habits don't go away, just well hidden. People can be so smooth, so they are never aware. His habits continue and the dental work continues. I do feel awkward, as I gave the referral for this person. I believed this person was clean. read more

Recently moved to the area and needed to find a dentist- saw some recommendations in neighborhood facebook page and decided to give them a call. I scheduled an appt for a few weeks out but they called when they had a cancellation and were able to fit me and my kids in sooner. Dr. Jarvis and her staff are excellent!! Booked 8am appointment for my 17 year old son. Got to the office at 7:45 with all new patient paperwork filled out and ready to go because my son had to work at 9am. Told the receptionist he would need to leave by 8:40 to get to work down the street. Was informed he was booked for an hour appointment and they wouldn't be able to reschedule him until September! That's 3.5 months out and he is back in school by then! If they just informed people ahead of time before booking the appointment that it would be for a whole hour, this could have been avoided. Now, my whole family will be finding a new dentist. It's unfortunate because my husband liked this office. I guess having too many patients is a good thing so they aren't worried when people leave. read more

Jarvis Dental is absolutely tops in my book, they are professional, courteous, caring and most of all make you feel like you are part of the family! Let me preface this by saying: I hate going to the dentist and would find every excuse in the book to avoid going to one. BUT Dr. Crowley-Jarvis and their staff make it tolerable. They kept telling I had to get work done for about 2 years but I kept avoiding it and avoiding until one day my tooth broke off. I called at 8pm for an emergency that night but they were closed but early the next morning before they were open, they called me and got me in that day. I usually need drugs to help me face my fears but since I had to go to an event later that night, I couldn't be drugged up. They recognized my fear and offered nitrous oxide. I never had it before but I knew I needed something and they explained it to me and I agreed. It was great! and even smelled like vanilla bean. Not only did they fix my tooth but the hygienist recommended we fix the decaying filling behind it (which they recommended I have done months before) since I was already drugged up and wouldn't have to face another office visit. I agreed & it took no time at all. I was able to drive home no problem & go to my event without any pain. I still hate going to the dentist (ironic since my uncle and cousin are both dentists in California) but I don't mind going to them since I know it will be done right. I'm also cost conscious but don't mind paying if the job is done right! I thought that they may have been gouging me with all the work they recommended but when my tooth broke off (the one they kept telling me I needed to have work on), I have to admit they were right, which they took care of right away. I would recommend them highly to anyone. read more
