After 4 or 5 consultations with other orthodontists, I went to see Dr. Guymon. The office is conveniently located across the street from Meridian Middle School. The office is super fun! They have a small arcade with video games from the 80's that you can play while you are waiting for your appointment. There are phone chargers in the waiting room for just about any phone. They even have a step & repeat that you can use when taking a selfie! Next to the step and repeat is a question of the month. When you answer the question you are entered into a drawing for different prizes (gift cards, for example). Once your kids are done with their braces Dr. Guymon gives you a delicious gourmet caramel apple & you get to sign the wall. The walls in the treatment area is covered with writing from everyone who completed their braces treatment. It's super cool! Another nice bonus is that they have a soft serve ice cream machine & the kids (and parents) are able to grab an ice cream cone on their way out when their appointment is done! The pricing & financing options are very fair and flexible. Dr. Guymon's office is great! I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

If anything breaks in your child's mouth, you will wait weeks to get it fixed, even if it hurts. The staff don't seem to monitor progress and Dr Payne rarely supervises or checks on my child's mouth during appointments. Someone should have caught the undesirable charges happening in my child's mouth if they had been looking. Appointments were under-scheduled and my child was in braces twice as long as we were quoted. No one ever bothered to communicate with me and the one time I requested a face-to-face meeting the Dr didn't show up. He went to volunteer at church instead. All of that would be fine if his work was top notch, but my kid's smile is worse now than when we started. This is what happens when someone tells you your child needs braces for the $$. I have More children and we will not be going to Dr. Payne.

Over a year ago, our family dentist (Eagle Smiles) recommended we seek an ortho consult for our son (9 at the time). Dr Fowler practices within their office, however he also has his own private practice. We did have our initial consult at Eagle Smiles, but when Dr Fowler said we should schedule a follow up I had already determined I would like to do so at their private practice. Primarily because I felt it would allow us a more personal experience with him and his staff, but also because I assumed it would be much easier to schedule appointments in the future. I have to say both assumptions were spot on! Scheduling an appointment was far easier and quicker to get in. And Dr Fowler and all of his staff are just fabulous to work with. Getting braces when you are 10 can be kind of scary and overwhelming. They do such a great job of explaining everything and allowing my son to be involved. Everyone is very friendly and personable. It's very obvious Dr Fowler and his team care about their patients. My husband also commented that he felt really comfortable with how things were explained at our initial meeting. For him it's not about how much something costs it is about explaining why it is a good investment and how you plan to accomplish the goal. We are just about 1 month in in our estimated 2 year journey, so we've still got a ways to go. But I think we are feeling really good about where we are going!

I always thought braces were for teenagers and younger adults). But, Dr. Fowler eased my mind about and now I'm so glad I did. Each visit was pleasant and productive and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs braces. Thanks Dr Fowler and company!!!
