This place is a joke and by far the most expensive dentist in the Treasure Valley. I was charged $200 for a consultation with no advanced notice of the charge. This was after waiting in the office an hour for no apparent reason only to be given information that could have been provided on the phone. Additionally they charged me for an xray even though I had recently had them done with another dentist because "they didn't want to wait" when these could have been requested well in advance. My appointment was made weeks before the actual "consultation" I would recommend going literally anywhere else. Also they wear masks in a shared office with another dentist that doesn't. Yesterday I was at Integrative Dentistry and was upset to see that they let people in without masks. If people can't wear them they need to do something to cover their mouths. You are not doing everything to protect people from COVID if you let people in without masks into a medical facility. Also I was not impressed with my dental assistant. She did not know how to work the machine. read more

When we found out that our newborn had a tongue tie and required an immediate revision we called Boise Integrative Dentistry. We have been seeing Dr. Rosa for almost 5 years now and knew we'd receive the best care possible. We were able to get in the very next morning and were met by Dr. Rosa and her staff for the consult. Dr. Rosa explained the benefits and risks. The procedure was quick and our baby was not even crying when we came back into the room. Dr. Rosa then walked us through the stretches that would be needed to help the incisions heal properly. The results of the surgery were almost instant! My baby was able latch 80% more effectively than before. We really appreciated that Dr. Rosa partners closely with Family Seasons lactation consultants to track the babies healing and results, they make an effective team! Dr. Rosa Pothier is a phenomenal dentist. After some recent lackluster experiences with other dentists, my naturopath referred me to Boise Integrative Dentistry. Based on her glowing reviews I made an appointment with Dr. Rosa. Dentistry is both a science and an art. I was fortunate to find a dentist who is adept at both. From the moment I met Dr. Rosa I could tell that she was a knowledgeable, confident, and talented dentist. She really listens to her patients, takes their concerns seriously, and spends the time to accurately diagnose and choose the best treatment. My bite has been off for a long time. Other dentists just shrugged it off and basically told me to live with it. Dr. Rosa took just a few minutes to carefully alter each crown such that I can chew properly again. She has a Zen, low-key quality that puts her patients at ease and her work is METICULOUS. I have had a lot of dental work and I can tell you that she is the best dentist I've ever been to. The entire office is very friendly and professional from the front office staff, to the chairside assistants, and hygienists. Brenda is Dr. Rosa's assistant. She is very talented and a lot of fun. I had an excellent cleaning from Lexi, my hygienist. Another thing I really appreciate about this practice is that they never upsell or foist services on you that you neither want nor need. They also have the latest, high tech equipment and are constantly updating their techniques. I haven't experienced this level of professionalism at a dental practice in a long time. They understand that you should be included as a partner in your health care. So glad I was referred here. It makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience. read more

Dr. Daniel Bruce was recommended as a doctor to create and settle a dental appliance for sleep apnea. He is not my regular dentist, so I am speaking about my experience with only this. I called in to make an appointment and they said they would get my records and call me. I was contacted and set the date and time. When I showed up, I checked in only to find they did not have me on the schedule, there was no chart created, and they were not expecting me at all. Clearly, I was frustrated but polite. They did show my records there so Dr. Daniel said he would see me anyway. They quickly put together a chart and got me in a chair. This was very appreciated. He was very professional, performed an exam to see if I would be a good candidate for the device. Once it was determined that I would be, we set an appointment to have impressions made and I was on my way. What could have been a wasted trip was not. Thank you for that! I went in to have the impressions made and found that my medical insurance did not cover his office. We discussed how I get an approval from my insurance company to have a non-network provider be paid as an in-network provider. They provided me with everything I would need so when I called my insurance company, filing the request was simple. Trusting that the insurance would cover, they took my impressions. After a couple of weeks, the insurance agreed to cover and I had the new appliance ready to go. I've needed a couple of adjustments and they got me in quickly and they were taken care of without any problems. I've been very happy with the commitment to me as their patient and the office staff for their help and dedication. I'm sure this will be a great partnership. read more

Dr. Rosa is hands down the best dentist I've been to in the treasure valley -- I've been to my fair share. I had some cosmetic work done and she thoughtfully outlined all of my treatment options and helped me find what worked for me and my budget/insurance without pushing anything, which has been a frustration with other dentists in the past. I felt very well cared for as she explained what she was doing and the reasoning behind it which kept me relaxed and comfortable. She's obviously very meticulous as I love the end result! FOLLOW UP: Dr. Ririe called to apologize they had not been clearer on the overall price. They are used to sorting out prices by codes which the dental insurance carriers will accept. I had no dental insurance and he acknowledged he should have done a better job of making the whole price evident upfront. I am not forsaking him as a dentist. I have myself a root canal and a new crown which will be required and he will do it. Dr. Robert Ririe has been our dentist for over 20 years.The staff at Baypoint Dental are friendly and professional. Their work and services are top notch. Unfortunately lately so are their prices. My wife had an abcess and had to have an emergency root canal. They got her in the same day she called. I have no qualms about the treatment she received. It was great. But I am rather dismayed, rather angry, at their pricing. After paying nearly $1100 for the root canal I was informed it would cost another $267 to seal the root canal because it was necessary to drill through a crown to perform it. I mean really when is sealing a procedure an additional expense? This experience has left a very bad taste to an otherwise professional experience. read more

Never been excited about going to the dentist. Bay Pointe has made that experience as good as it can possibly be. Dan Bruce is great, explains options clearly and offers helpful suggestions regarding my dental care. I really like all of the staff people I have had the pleasure of interacting with. I stumbled upon Bay Pointe Dental when I had a dental emergency and called Bay Pointe Dental instead of my own dentist in error. There was a voice message providing the names and numbers of four dentists to call in the event of an emergency. I thought these were just on-call dentists, and it was not until later that I realized these were the four dentists employed at Bay Pointe Dental. Once I realized the error, I called my own dentist's emergency number. He never returned my call, but each of the four dentists at Bay Pointe Dental promptly returned my call. I needed to have a crown put back on the day before I was scheduled to leave town for a vacation. I choose to have Dr. Rosa Pothier of Bay Pointe Dental put my crown back on, which she informed me did not fit very well. Dental work is expensive, but even if it was not, it does not make sense to continue going to a provider who is not providing me with a good service. Although I had been going to my dentist for 39 years (when my dentist retired, his son took over the business and became my new dentist), I felt like the combination of not receiving a call back for a dental emergency and learning that the dental work I had done was not up to par was a message from the universe telling me I needed to change dentists. My experience with Dr. Rosa Pothier and the staff at Bay Pointe Dental was so stellar that choosing her as my new dentist was a no-brainer. Dr. Rosa provided me a pillow for my neck and offered to cover me with a blanket if I got cold. In addition, I received a very nice hand-written Thank You card from her after my first visit. After a recent dental proceedure, Dr. Rosa Pothier called me twice to check on how I was doing. All of these things are experiences I never had with my former dentists. In addition, Dr. Rosa Pothier's has the most up-to-date dental knowledge and an extremely high skill level. I would recommend Bay Pointe Dental and Dr. Rosa Pothier without hesitation to anyone considering a new dentist and/or an overall better dental experience. read more
