I got a written price quote…read morewith a $500 discount off of asking price before Thanksgiving after inquiring about any "Black Friday" sales which the owner stated they "hadn't talked about or thought of". Unfortunately I didn't have time to test drive the cart and test the systems at the time so I put it on the back burner until right before Christmas . At that point, my adult son and I test drove some carts and tested the systems and we settled on the same golf cart from Thanksgiving that I was interested in. Because the husband owner had left to deliver a cart as we were wrapping up our decision, I left the lot asking the wife to please work on completing our previous written deal (she said she had to talk to her husband who I had worked with both times). I had asked if they could find another $400 in the deal since another month had gone by and they had also maybe had some leeway on my trade. I told them I wanted to buy it that day. They never responded back to me!! I reached out the next day to see if they had forgotten about me and they said that the price they had quoted me previously was for "Black Friday". That's all they said! No new price. No negotiation. They didn't offer a higher price or seem to have any interest in negotiating in any way. I had also reached out to them a year prior to buy new lead batteries for my existing Golf Cart and they never responded. I had hoped to support a local dealer but had to shop elsewhere for new batteries and I guess now I'll shop elsewhere for the cart. It was an unusual experience. Hopefully yours will be better.
