I needed a replacement key fob for my new Toyota, and I definitely did not want to go to a dealer because of past experiences. Eric went to the trouble of researching and swiftly finding the rare key fob from a distant state. It can be really difficult to make a key fob work correctly for sensor-filled cars. Eric was able to make it all work. Before Gray Duck, I had talked to a couple of other locksmiths, and they were not equipped to make a replacement key for this Toyota. So if you're having a key issue, forget the other locksmiths and go straight to Gray Duck.

They have such a bad reputation and I feel like they scam people( customers). I personally know someone who works here and he goes by the name of "Alex" which is a fake name. His real name is MAHMOUD ABDELSALAM K AYYAD, be careful with this person, he's absolutely crazy! He loses his temper super quick, he goes from 0-1000 in seconds, just be cautious. He will give you an estimate over the phone, but in person he usually comes up with whatever insane fee to get more money out of your pocket. He does not care about the job but how much money he can get out of you. Don't get scam and stay away or pay the consequences. Thx

I had to install a smart lock Schlage along with a Camelot finish door knob, which I asked him on the call about, and he got me an appointment impromptu at the very last minute. Mike and Matt arrived on time and got started right away. They hadn't done many of these smart locks before, but Mike had pretty good knowledge of the locks and its operation. They took a quick pick at the installation guide and got everything settled up in about 30 minutes. They were both friendly and helped explain what the parts were and how to maintain these for longer better use. They did have to drill a small hole for the knob, which they did very elegantly. Thanks to a couple of tips from Mike and Matt, I think I can do my own drilling now to hang some paintings. I really appreciate their professionalism and adjusting me last minute in their schedule. Totally recommended. The pricing is pretty decent as well, so all in all a very good deal.

The lock broke on one of our steel security doors and was completely inoperable, locked shut. The…read morelock set was an old Marks lock that had actually broken internally, keeping the lock bar in place. Eddy and his assistant came by and recommended we pick up the lock set online; doing this saved us a couple hundred right off the bat, which was an excellent introduction. Once the lock arrived, Eddy fit us into his schedule the next day, knowing we'd already been dealing with this inoperable door for about a week by then. The lock did not give way easily -- it took well over an hour, but they persisted, and eventually (& quite loudly) defeated the broken, but formidable, lock. Not to understate it, this lock was a challenge (which makes me feel even more secure having a newer version of the same lock installed now). It was all smooth sailing from here, and we were all quite relieved we didn't have to escalate the process farther. They were very conscious of our pets the entire time, and allowed me to watch their processes, explaining as they did, and answering every question I had as well. Eddy even showed me the internals of the old lock set after pulling it out, including the part that had broken and jammed the lock bar, knowing I'd be interested to see what had been causing all those problems. Fast Eddy's is a great business, and they were very helpful all throughout. If we ever need a locksmith's services again, we'll definitely be calling Fast Eddy's. Five Star.
