Knowing that we were "in a fix" he could have totally taken advantage... but his kindness and character showed through! I wish we lived closer so we could continue to patronize his business! WARNING!!!! Do NOT USE THIS MAN!!!!…read more Lorenz came to my home and told me I had a simple oil leak and towed my car to the "shop" on a Friday. We had some bad weather and he stated that they needed until Wednesday to complete the job. I paid him $40 for diagnostics and then $150 for the tow. Then sent $550 for parts. I also got a rental for 5 days through budget rent a car which cost me 500$ Wednesday came and it wasn't done. He said it would be done Thursday. I got the rental another day. Another $68 and $15 extension fee. Friday came and he said it's still not done. So after a week I have paid over 1k and it's not done. He promised it would be done the following Tuesday by 8pm. I returned rental that morning. At 9pm when he didn't show up he texted that he was done but there was still an oil leak. WHAT!!!!! He said he had parts and needed until Monday. Monday morning I asked him if it was going to be completed as promised and he said no. He needed til Wednesday. So 13 days he has had my car and it's in the same condition. I just had enough and sent a tow truck to their shop to get my car. When tow truck arrived it was at someone's house. They told me it was a mechanic shop. It's a random house on a sketchy neighborhood and my car sitting in front untouched with snow covering it still. He misled me as he had a shop. He just paid google bc he was the first to pop up. I trusted him and he lied several times. I am now at a mechanic shop hats legit and have had to get ANOTHER rental car for the week. This guy has lied and set me back almost 1500 and my car is in the same condition as it was 13 days ago. Do not trust him

Aamco Springfield has my highest respect and admiration!!!!!…read more We were driving from New Mexico to New York when we stopped at a British petroleum station to get diesel fuel. BP colors their gas handles green and i made the terrible mistake of adding gas to our diesel truck. $&@#%. We had truck towed to Aamco and Friday AM i called them. They were all booked up with their regular customers, which i highly respect. They were closed on the weekend but first thing Monday AM they put a technician on our truck and completed the work that day. They had to drop the tank and clean it out and dry. We have an auxiliary tank that feeds into the main tank and the technician hooked everything up perfectly. We picked up our truck Monday before closing and the truck ran great. A big shout out to Mike, who was the person we communicated with. Very professional. I don't know the name of the technician or the manager. A big shout out to ALL!!!! We resumed our trip, got to New York, Gettysburg, and another 3,000 miles to home. If it wasn't for Aamco, we would have been stuck. God Bless them. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Cynthia and Bob
