CHEAP EBAY PARTS. If you're looking for a place to fix your car, only to have it break 6k miles…read morelater? Then this is the shop for you! What exactly happened you might ask? Let me explain. I Bought this car in Ohio with 141k on the odometer. I was fully aware that the car had just been rebuilt due to failed head gaskets. Anyone who knows anything about Subarus, knows this is a super common repair, but also a tad challenging because it requires a full tear down of the engine to access them. Anyways I purchased the car, drove it ~250 miles home, and enjoyed it for another 6k miles before tragedy struck. To keep this review short I'll get straight to the point. During the head gasket repair, this shop replaced the timing belt as well, also a very common practice. In doing so however, they decided to install cheap eBay parts. The parts failed, causing my timing to be thrown off and essentially destroying my engine. Now this is where it gets interesting. I took my car to my local automotive shop, and got it rebuilt for just under 3k. After getting my car back and talking to my mechanic, he gave me the scoop on what had failed and why. It was the timing belt tensioner. I took this information and with the help of the receipts the previous owner had given me from the initial repair, I was able to track down and contact this shop. "fix all" automotive. I talked to the owner, and knew I was in trouble. The first thing that I heard was denial. They tried denying that they ever did the timing belt, but I kept telling them that the receipts proved otherwise. Then once they finally admitted to doing it, their next argument was that he doesn't work on Subarus, and that mine was the last one they ever worked on. I tried to tell them that that's not my problem and what they did cost me three THOUSAND dollars (which is a lot of money for someone who is 18), but they kept blaming it on the fact that they don't normally work on Subarus. Finally, after conversing with them for some time, they stated that my car was scheduled to come in for a "re-tightening" after 5k miles, which was not true but that's not the point. Whoever is reading this, you must know that that is not standard practice for any vehicle as far as I am aware. I have talked around with many mechanics and while thy say it could be helpful, it shouldn't be, and isn't, necessary if the job is done right. Now, approximately 5 months later and many phone calls, they aren't going to put a dime towards the expensive mess THEY created. This shop might do good work but my experience with them was incredibly costly and irritating. This shop has ZERO integrity and will not take responsibility for their actions. Anyway, if anyone is genuinely curious to actually see the part that broke, I have it but I am unable to upload pics to this website as far as I am aware.

I had to amend my prior glowing review of this place because I learned, after doing it, that…read moresomething was taken from my car and they deny it. I have an issue with my check engine light turning on so had a code checker plugged in at all times. It was a small device I bought from Amazon for $20 and it was incredibly useful. After taking my car to them for a change of some wires I was on my way home when I realized my code checker was gone. I called them immediately and was told the guy who worked on my car put it on the gear shift console and I must have lost it. Not in one of the two cup holders. Not in the cubby in the middle of the dash. I tore my car apart or this code reader and it was nowhere in the car. In short, it was taken and I was told it was my fault it was gone. My thinking is... If they're willing to take something small and inexpensive with no qualms, what else are they willing to do to their customers? They get the stars because they did the work and did a great job. But I hate people who steal. This is a second edit: After the owner of the place saw my bad review, he called me early one morning to threaten me, curse at me, and scream at the top of his lungs at me. It was pretty bad and definitely not a good example of a good business owner. He promised to replace the stolen code checker, I even texted him a screenshot from Amazon so he would get the right one, but I never heard from him again, nor did he replace my code checker. People should beware of this place, as the owner can be downright threatening if you don't give him a good review. Because of the threats and cursing at me, I changed my review to one star. I wouldn't recommend, solely because the owner is a dangerously loose cannon.

WARNING!!!! Do NOT USE THIS MAN!!!!…read more Lorenz came to my home and told me I had a simple oil leak and towed my car to the "shop" on a Friday. We had some bad weather and he stated that they needed until Wednesday to complete the job. I paid him $40 for diagnostics and then $150 for the tow. Then sent $550 for parts. I also got a rental for 5 days through budget rent a car which cost me 500$ Wednesday came and it wasn't done. He said it would be done Thursday. I got the rental another day. Another $68 and $15 extension fee. Friday came and he said it's still not done. So after a week I have paid over 1k and it's not done. He promised it would be done the following Tuesday by 8pm. I returned rental that morning. At 9pm when he didn't show up he texted that he was done but there was still an oil leak. WHAT!!!!! He said he had parts and needed until Monday. Monday morning I asked him if it was going to be completed as promised and he said no. He needed til Wednesday. So 13 days he has had my car and it's in the same condition. I just had enough and sent a tow truck to their shop to get my car. When tow truck arrived it was at someone's house. They told me it was a mechanic shop. It's a random house on a sketchy neighborhood and my car sitting in front untouched with snow covering it still. He misled me as he had a shop. He just paid google bc he was the first to pop up. I trusted him and he lied several times. I am now at a mechanic shop hats legit and have had to get ANOTHER rental car for the week. This guy has lied and set me back almost 1500 and my car is in the same condition as it was 13 days ago. Do not trust him
