I was so embarrassed about my appearance that I would cover my mouth when I smiled, or just not show a "real" smile. Even though I was not the best candidate for orthodontics, Dr. Cameron still worked with me. Three years after getting my braces, they were removed to show my new beautiful teeth! I cannot imagine what my life would be like if I didn't have Dr. Cameron create my smile for me! Each visit he was so kind, and answered any questions I had. I still wear my retainers every night, and it has been 11 years since I have had them removed. After all, I would hate his hard work and my time wearing my braces to go to waste! Our appointment was scheduled for 4:00 PM, and we were instructed to arrive 15 minutes early. We arrived at 3:45 PM as requested, yet we were not seen until 5:00 PM. However, I'm certain that if we had arrived even a few minutes after 4:00 PM, our appointment would have been canceled. To make matters worse, my daughter suffers from allergies. The staff told us they would not see her because of her allergies and requested a doctor's note. I provided the doctor's note, but then they told us it was too late and that they were about to close. After making us wait that long, that response was unacceptable. The staff was extremely rude and dismissive throughout the process. As a parent, I expect professionalism, clear communication, and basic courtesy -- especially at a children's dental office.
