You may need to check for insurance coverage but in any case, Dr. Buchanan was worth every cent (which was reasonable) He took x-rays of my daughter's teeth and told us, "I don't see anything I would want to put a drill to". He was very patient and answered all of our questions and gave us information we had not even thought of asking about! Check to see if this dentist is in your dental insurance NETWORK!!!!!!!!! They won't tell you until you go in for your appointment and then will try to sweet talk you into a payment arrangement. I spent almost 900 dollars on a filling!! Then, I woke up and realized they aren't in my network. My bad!! My brother in law ask them if they were in his dental network and they said that they will discuss it when he goes in for his appointment. Bump that!!! I currently have braces on which mean I see and an orthodontist every 8 weeks he spends more time making sure I feel heard and taken care of which is more than can be said for this smith guy. I tried to tell smith tht I was having pain in my tooth I made a whole separate visit for this pain and once again was charged such an outrages price it made my head spin and in the end he said there is nothing wrong and when I had my orthodontist appointment I made sure to tell him about my problem and he immediately found what the issue was so clearly smith needs to do more to make sure his patients are getting actual dental care. They ladies at the front desk are so pretty but those attitudes are just as bad as smiths dental work/ bed side manner. She was cheerful, friendly, took the time to explain everything, and very thorough. She took a complete set of xrays and was conscientious about not hurting me in the process. She was gentle during my cleaning too. This is the first time in my whole adult life of going to a dentist that they put balm on my lips so they wouldn't chap--nice touch. The dentist was also very thorough--he checked my throat and neck as well as my mouth and teeth. Very nice experience over all. I definitely recommend them to anyone. Tell them I recommended you!
