Unfortunately, they were bought by this lazy and slow service company called SUPERIOR PLUS PROPANE. I used Rymes for over a decade and miss their outstanding full service. They were so reliable, every single professional was extremely knowledgeable, experienced with an outstanding customer service. Since Superior Plus Propane took over, there is NOTHING SUPERIOR about them! It immediately downgraded to INFERIOR SERVICES and care for their customers. We have a brand-new furnace that we bought with them, and it has already stopped working 4 times!!! We were told that there is a part that needs replacement and NOTHING IS DONE!!! My husband has been calling them to ask when the part is going to arrive, but they never call us back OR CARE TO GIVE US AN UPDATE on the status of where things are or when the part will arrive. Two weeks ago, our furnace failed on the weekend, and we had to pay close to $600 for a third-party suggested BY SUPERIOR to come to the house!!!! PLEASE BUILD YOUR CASE AND GET A LAWYER! That's my next step if they don't show up to our house in the next few days with the part they know it needs to get replaced. I am done paying hundreds of dollars for a quick fix. No one deserves to be left in the cold in New England because of their total lack of care, urgency and unprofessionalism. RUN FROM SUPERIOR PLUS PROPANE!!!!

For 13 years we have had deliveries from Rymes in January and August, when propane prices go down. They now take it upon themselves to deliver gas when it is not needed. They are losing us as a customers. They sent us a bill in March for propane and we reviewed our security cameras with no delivery truck observed. These cameras will pick up a bird walking around our property. Where did this $777 worth of gas go? No delivery slip left in mailbox which is 20 feet away from gas tank either.

There was always an excuse given, and maybe with good reason, but the bottom line is they never showed up. Multiple emails, phone calls and texts have gone unanswered. The business address is a PO Box. I have repeatedly tried in good faith to work with them to get the job done, but they aren't interested. At this point, I'm not sure I would even trust them to do the job, if I can't get them to return a phone call or text, what would happen if I had a problem? I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and they responded by saying there were all kinds of problems, supply chain, personnel, etc., but that the job was scheduled and would be completed. That was in October of 2020. It has been almost a year since I paid my deposit, and at this point, I can only assume that money is lost. The owner seems like a nice enough guy when you speak with him, but there is only so far that goes, and it's been many months since I've been able to get them to acknowledge me or my situation. I would avoid at all costs.
