They recommended a few hot water heaters for us to choose from and explained each and gave us prices. They ordered the heater and it arrived quick. A few days later they arrived exactly when they promised. They were done in a few hours. The original plumber who came out and his coworkers were very friendly. They put our 3 dogs at ease and my 6 year old granddaughter said of one of them "that guy is really good to talk to and I like his voice"! I wish I remembered his name. He also gave my husband a few pointers on another way to remove water from our flooding basement. We now have a plumber we know we can rely on if the need arises again!

Trombly Plumbing when good enough is too much trouble…read more I had them do three things for me, though I should have caught on the first time. First was to run a heat duct up to the second floor. To do this they had to cut a hole in the floor. I agreed, but I asked the duct be installed far enough way from the wall with the window, it was in a corner, so I could box it in and make it look nice. They finished and I was not happy with the results. First, it was not the distance away I requested, I gave measurements. Second, it was at an angle so I had to build a bigger box than should have been necessary. Finally, they had cut a large round hole, abandoned that idea and then cut a larger oval hole than was needed. This is the original flooring from the 19th century. I had to build a base around the bottom of the box to hide the holes in the floor. Second try. I have a pantry that used to be a small 1/2 bath. I had them turn it back into a bathroom. This part of the house doesn't get good heat so I needed a solution to keep the pipes from freezing. Their only solution was shut off valves for when the temperature was too cold. The pipes run under the house in a crawl space. I talked to them about other solutions. They told me this was the only thing that could be done. I went ahead with it. I found out there were several other solutions. After everything was done it looked OK, until. One day I was leaning against the sink and it suddenly let go from the wall. It didn't come out completely, but was now at a slight angle and it is loose, you can give it a little wiggle. I asked them to come fix it. They said it was not anchored into a stud because there weren't any in that area. They never told me. I checked around and there are simple solutions. Finally, I had them fix an emergency. Every time someone used the plumbing the sewage would pour out onto the basement floor. They came out right away. They told me before they could start I would have to have it professionally cleaned. I did. They proceeded to cut the old sewer pipe out only to have sewage splash all over the basement. They did fix the pipe, but I asked them to pay for it to be cleaned. They refused. They said the pipe was blocked and nobody could have known. Well, a plumber would have known that if sewage isn't draining there's probably a clog. Don't use Trombly! You have been warned!

Two guys showed up, one was pretty young. They went to the basement for maybe 15 minutes came back upstairs and said they had to go get the snake. They left and got it then returned promptly. They were in the basement for over an hour when two more guys showed up, one of which was again pretty young. Without my knowledge or permission there were four men walking through my house in and out of my basement into my living area. As a female at the house alone, this was very unprofessional of them to do and very uncomfortable for me. After zero communication and another hour of them being in the basement, they called me down to look at a camera attached to a scope, couldn't see anything but a chunk of pipe missing. I was confused, uncomfortable and blown away by the mess. Speechless. I then said "ok so we can talk about this once you're finished?" The owner replied, "yes" and stated that I needed my line replaced to the road. Another 20 minutes go by then two guys leave. The owner said he's going to make a call to get a quote for an excavator and walked outside. The two younger gentleman did attempt to wipe up my kitchen floor as they were leaving with an old dirty rag they had in the van. Saying they were sorry for the mess. They were nice young men. The last one goes outside and then they all drove away. I had no idea what work was done and what really needed to be done besides the comment that I needed to replace the sewer line to the road. Hours went by and I received a bill in my email for $550.00 for a jetting service. There was no communication whatsoever. This man does what he wants, takes off and then sends a bill to your email. I paid because I'm not a POS and felt obligated. This man took full advantage of me. Once they left, I had to deep clean my floors as there was raw sewage tracked everywhere. When I went downstairs to the basement, I instantly began to cry. My basement was covered in raw sewage water. I had to pay another company to clean the hazardous mess as it was literally going to make us sick (ended up getting sick from all of it). Please see the photographs. Does this man take advantage of hard working females? Shame on you and your company, Pratti Mechanical. I have dozens of other photos from my security cameras that are located in my basement. I hope it brings you joy to know that your unprofessionalism and lack of respect for my home cost me thousands of dollars and had me physically Ill. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL experience. Worst of the worst.
