We took our Corgi and our Lab here and it was an amazing experience. In other facilities we've used - our lab has chewed her paws and thrown up - she does not like to be kenneled. She doesn't want to go in the facilities and can't wait to leave when we pick them up and our dogs have generally seemed unrested. When we arrived to pick up at Jee Jac our dogs were in great spirits (which is not our norm). They seem energetic and like they generally liked being there. We have happy dogs and as a result are happy people we will use again. read more

This is a great place to care for your furry friend! They do a great job of taking care of them. Our dogs love it here.

I really liked this place they were very clean and professional. The place smelled cleaned. They had all their rates posted outside and inside, and had information and cards to hand out. Very professional job on this old guy for summer. read more

we have been getting our 15 month old 10lb dog groomed here since she was a puppy and were always satisfied with the results. On the august 5th we brought her in and they said 3 hours, which is seemed too long. After 3 1/2 hours we called and got voicemail. Our call was not returned, so after she had been there for close to 4 hours we drove over. My husband went in and they said she still had 10minutes. He asked why was it taking 4 hours to groom a little dog. The guy working there blew up at my husband and said "she's done". My husband said I thought you said 10minutes. The guy said "she's done", we won't charge you but she's done and made the groomer give her back to us with tufts of hair sticking out everywhere. My husband was aggravated when he came in, but didn't yell or cuss. He just asked why it took so long. This response was completely unprofessional and an extreme overreaction to my husband justifiable questioning. And the groomer, who had done a good job to that point didn't even get her tip. read more

I boarded my Aussie Shepherd at Jee Jac during my vacation back in October. I was a little nervous, as the dog is new to me and I had never boarded her before, but for my own peace of mind (and her safety) I was happy in the end that I'd chosen to find a place for her for the week. And Jee Jac was wonderful! This is a small kennel, and appears to be family-owned and operated. I submitted a reservation request via their website and got a quick response. I also added on a grooming sesh for my furbaby so she'd look extra gorgeous when I got home. With the exception of a mildly confusing check-in process, I had a great experience with this kennel and will be more than happy to bring my pooch there again on my next trip. Their prices were very reasonable, and my dog came home happy, healthy, and even groomed! read more

We have taken our dogs there frequently, but the last 3 trip my Lab has come home with puncture wounds over both eyes. We asked after the first time to be aware, the second time to make sure it didn't happen again, and the 3rd time resulted in this unfavorable review. We had good luck there before, but i cant recommend taking your pet here for boarding. not after the consistent wounds found on my dog after a few days at Jee Jac read more

As I walked in there was people walking the dogs. Made the place look super friendly and all about dog. I've told him my animal hadn't pooped yet and he took him outside to poop so that was very cool of him. When I came back from my dog he was so clean! Staff was friendly and answered all my questions. Will be coming back. I do 100% recommended. read more

I drop my Morkie off here about once a month for grooming. Every time I do, they are super friendly and she comes out looking EXACTLY the way I want her too. They listen to what I am asking and always give her a super cute hairstyle. My Morkie is never scared to come here and always treated so sweetly. The prices are great as well! I highly recommend them for grooming. read more

Wonderful place to take the pooches while we went out of town. My daughter and I recently needed a place to leave our treasured dogs while we took a trip. They were well taken care of. This was the first time my daughter had to leave Stella (puddles) so she (my daughter) was very anxious, but this turned out to be the right spot and she had nothing to worry about. Now my lovely little monster is another story all together. She is a Husky......enough said right lol!!! Roxy (Poochzilla) let's just say is a handful and to make matters worse she is very attached to me. She gets major separation anxiety even when she stays in her own space and I go out of town. This causes her to act out in ways she never does under normal circumstances. All of that being said the folks here at Jee Jac's handled her very well. They made her comfortable and didn't make things worse like some places I have taken her before. All in this place has definitely earned my 5 star rating and we will certainly come back again. read more

If you are looking for a place to board a big puppy, this is not the place!!!! We boarded our 120lb, year old, Dane Mastiff mix for the first time. Keep in mind he's not viscous but he is a pretty meaty dog. Therefore, when he pulls he will take you with him. I dropped him off around 11am and not even 24 hours later I get a call, after feeding time, at 7:35am stateing that "He is not happy and that I NEED to come get my dog because they could not control him." I specifically told the staff, that when you open a door he will dart out, so be cautious. I felt very skeptical for leaving him there. The place is a complete disaster. The foundation is not secure at all. It just reminded me of a dirty pound. Apparently, he broke through a "concrete wall" when it was actually a peace of sheet metal. Of course, a 120lb dog could have easily gotten through a material like that. Then, he had gotten a hold of some dog food. The staff didn't feel comfort charging me for the boarding fee but they were completely comfortable asking me to pay a fee to replace the dog food, which was more than the boarding fee for a night. I basically ended up paying for two nights. I believe the staff should be able to control any dog that they take in. I was not aware of the fact that if they can not control a dog that we were going to have to, somehow, come get him. What if we were not in town? There would have been nothing we could have done. The whole experience was just horrific. Jee Jac Kennels made everything so inconvenient for us. read more

Amazing staff, great pet care and pet grooming! Clean facility, with easy drop off and pick up! Highly recommend.

We brought our German Shepherd Dog here for a bath. He's never been professionally bathed, but Jee Jac handled him like the pros that they are. Ruger had no issues, nor did Jee Jac. We appreciate their willingness to work with a more challenging dog. Shortly after, we found ourselves headed out of town for a single night. We took our two dogs there as a test run. All went well. We'll be back for our future boarding needs! read more

Iam SO HAPPY with my experience with this business!! From the time I walked into the beautiful CLEAN place I was greeted with a smile and a hello! The job they did with my poodle was amazing and my dog was so happy and peaceful when I came in to check on him and when I picked him up! One thing that really stood out was the beautiful piece of property and how well maintained it was!! Also what me feel really comfortable was that they have a gated area for the dog to go potty if need be and it is well secured and safe! Also not one dog barked at each other the 3 times I showed up! Every dog seemed to love it at this place! Iam so glad I found this place and needless to say I rebooked ..I also tipped because of how well my dog was groomed!! read more

My dogs stayed here one week over the holidays past. They came back stinking and reeking with the foulest odor. I had to immediately bathe them, and called the kennel for answers. NO answers were forthcoming. It was bewildering, as my dogs weren't soiled or filthy, but they smelled filthy...it was really bad...a nauseating stink. I don't know what happened there, but it wasn't good and it made no sense. This was disheartening. I have used Sunnyhill Kennels in Anacortes since and have been very pleased there. read more

We left our 2 year old, long-haired Shiba Inu for a long weekend on our way from Seattle to Anacortes. They have a great little check-in office, nice parking area and very clean and professional. This was our dogs first time but we will now make this our regular boarding place anytime we venture north. The prices were totally affordable and they even offer the ability to add extra play times. We also had him groomed prior to pickup and wow, were we impressed! They didn't just do bath, brush and nails...they got all of the little matts out of his fur, especially his long tail, trimmed his paws and got all the shaggy undercoat out that was started to loosen now that he's started to shed. We are very impressed, that's the best grooming he's ever had! He came prancing out with a big smile on his face like he knew he was one handsome boy! And while he was excited to see me, he still wanted to go right over to his groomer and with a big smile and tail wagging. He was clearly treated well and now he's crashed on the floor likes he's exhausted. read more

I just popped in to Jee Jac Kennels for a tour , when I got there I was surprised To you see a dry dog in a cage with the blower on , she was shaking, I was there for 10 min waiting for the tour as a customer picked up there dog, observing the dirt and filth watching the poor dog. I requested the dog be removed from the cage , come to find out it's the groomers dog, well if she will do that to her own dog what will she do to yours!!! I went ahead with my tour , the kennels for the most part seemed picked up , but again filth and a bit of hoarding and exposed wires around , ya I was impressed and I suggest all of you please get your animals out of the facility and anyone considering taking animals here please somewhere else , for the pets you live please , and the couple that picked up your dog the reason he was so happy , maybe you should go look where they keep the dog!!!! read more

I have been coming to Jee Jac for over 3 years . I use them for grooming and boarding. I cant say enough good things about them, there attention to detail, the way they treat my dog with loving care as if it was there own personal pet. My dog gets all excited when I ask her if she wants to get a bath and hair cut, she knows she is about to get pampered. The whole crew is awesome , I highly recommend them for all your pets needs.
