I found Advanced Plumbing through Yelp and have used their services twice so far. They provided a…read morequick response to my inquiries both times. I value that they were honest, fair and prices are reasonable. They called to let me know when they were on there way and they were on time. The first time i used them i had a really bad clog in my kitchen drain, the clog was so bad it had to be removed from the pipe in the basement. They were able to remove the clog and backed their work with a 30 day guarantee. That gave me great peace of mind. The second time i used them was for a problem i was having with my stack pipe. I was fortunate to not need the entire stack replaced. The cap to the stack was decayed and so they were able to replace it. Just a note that they don't cover their shoes/boots so if you don't wear shoes/boots in your home or your concerned that they might track debris and etc. you might want to provide them with shoe covers. They get the job done right but they don't really clean up the work area. So be aware that the job will get done right, but you might need to go behind them and clean up the area they were working in. Overall a solid experience.

The lady there was very friendly and used their file on our house to give me a quote over the phone. I then had another plumber come out for a price. They were quite a bit higher. I called Diliberto back and the guys came out today. They are friendly, respectful of property, and did an excellent job! While they were here, I asked about fixing a sink and shutoff valves. They called for a price and did great on that as well. The final bill was exactly what had been quoted. I highly recommend this group for anything plumbing!

She said she had to put me on hold and because I didn't answer within 1 second she started to get annoyed. Then every time I would ask her questions on how their service and fees work she would give difficult and sarcastic response like I'm not the plumber and was just extremely rude. Just can't understand why or how these people treat their potential customers like this. If you are the owner reading this review, you seriously need to speak with your receptionist as this was totally uncalled for. Still kind of shocked at the attitude and rudeness of this person.

Mr Tubs Plumbing (AKA Matt Leach) did an excellent job for us - repairing a broken sewer line,…read moreinstalling a sewer line check valve and installing a basement floor drain. We recently purchased a 100 + year old South Philadelphia row home that requires many repairs and upgrades. We selected Matt for the plumbing because: 1. He was knowledgeable, confident and experienced in what was required for our job. 2. His price was in line with the companies that have good reputations on Angie's List and Yelp. 3. He didn't try to "up sale" us on ripping out all basement plumbing. 4. He was the guy who estimated and bid the work and was also the person who would actually do the work. 5. Unlike two of the companies bidding the job, he would get the required permits and do the job by-the-book. 6. He is just a hell of a nice guy, running his family-owned business, doing skilled and difficult work for an honest price. His crew was on time, professional, and his office person could not be nicer to deal with. Additional info: Matt also went above and beyond in two ways. 1. On the day of the job, I asked him to add a floor drain to the project. This seemed like a simple request from a home-owners perspective but given the limited space in the work area, it was a really difficult fit. But he pulled it off. 2. I ask Matt to leave the floor concrete open so I could make some adjustments to some other utilities that are also installed in this tight corner of the basement floor. While working on it I noted a void under/outside of the old field stone wall of the row home. I contacted Matt for advice and a day later he had one of his men back to pack the area with stone. He really didn't need to do this because, given the age of the home, the void could have been there for years. Matt just handled it. This is why, going forward, Mr. Tubbs will always be our Philly plumber. Final note: Matt also teaches plumbing in the evenings, so he really knows his trade. I know this is a crazy long review, so you probably think Matt is my brother-in-law or something. Nope. I'm just a satisfied customer who thinks you should give credit where credit is due.
