Kit was a amazing plumber. If you want the best! Hire the best!!! The value of the service was fantastic!

Kit is amazing. HIGHLY recommend. We have used him 4x now. Once at a rental property we owned to fix a leak under a sink. 3x at another home - installed a new sink/faucet; fixed 2 toilets; and most recently came out on a Sunday in less then 2 hours to unthaw a frozen pipe due to artic blast in Feb. He is nice, polite, knowledgeable, practical and really fair pricing. Easy to pay/Venmo, etc. read more

Kit is very thorough and polite. He contacted me to fix my garbage disposal. He gave a flat rate of $350 to replace and he came in and fixed it with that rate. He didn't ask for more money and he did his work quietly and very carefully. He told me to take a photo of the product so I can register it for warranty. Kit is great and I strongly recommend hiring him! read more

Excellent service for all your plumbing needs. Very efficient, fast and affordable. The plumber was very knowledgeable and thorough.

I don't' give 5 stars unless the business goes above and beyond. I wanted to leave a review for Kit from Plumbing N Things because he totally deserves it. I live just outside of Washington DC and my elderly mom lives out in Philly by herself. She'd been having issues with her toilet and the water not filling up properly after she flushes. All she could say is that she hears leaky sounds every couple of hours. I finally scheduled an appointment with another company rated high on yelp, drove up to Philly to be there for my mom and no one showed up!!! The other company gave me excuses about the other job taking so long and forgot to call us and said they can come another day. Are you kidding me??? Frustrated and angry I continued down the list for another week calling and leaving messages. Kit from Pluming N Things got back to me right away. He was so nice on the phone and told me that I didn't have to drive up from DC again. He offered to go out to my mom's place the following day and face timed me to explain what the problem was, gave me an estimate and because it wasn't a huge issue, he offered to fix the problem right away. I saved 6 hours of RT driving time, toll, gas, and not to mention he was really nice on the phone and facetime, AND he didn't rip off an elderly lady and take advantage of her. Thank you so much Kit, for restoring my faith in plumbers. I really appreciated your professionalism and kindness. read more

Yesterday a tenant from my rental property in Philadelphia called complaining about a clogged kitchen sink full of water that wouldn't drain. It was very difficult to find someone to come soon on Memorial day and the ones who could priced this urgent job pretty high. Plumbing n things didn't have lots of reviews but I decided to take my chances. Not only they gave me a great price and offered a camera inspection, but also came over on holiday and did it fast. Needless to say, they also did a great job with the issue. Making decisions like this without being there is quite a challenge, but I am glad I was able to find this business. It's also a family-owned business and It is my choice to support small businesses. Thank you, guys! Would definitely recommend Plumbings n things to anyone. Trustworthy people. read more

I received several replies from my Yelp request for a plumber to fix a constantly running toilet with a tank that wouldn't fill, but Kit is the only one that detailed what he thought the problem was and provided an estimate in his reply. He came out on time and had the problem fixed quickly. He also provided fixtures that were far superior to those put in by a national plumbing chain that had been out three months earlier. Highly recommend Plumbing N Things! read more

I found my plumber! The reviews on here are all true! LOL I personally don't like to read a book when going through reviews so in a nutshell, I had another company who came out, took a look and said I need a sewer line replacement because they said the line can't be cleared. Well, I wanted second opinion and am soooo glad I got one. Kit came out and BAM! He cleared it! Saved me money! When he came, I told him the whole story, how the prior company told me I need a sewer line replacement and so I'm ready to do it if he gives me a better price. He actually cleared it, no replacement needed! He could've just gave me a slightly less quote and milked more money from me but he didn't. I know I said I won't write a book, but as I was writing this review, I couldn't resist lol If you live under a roof, you need to know a reliable plumber. Here you go~ read more

Plumbing N Things - Plumbing Near Me

Wouldn't choose anyone else for my plumbing needs. Kit was professional and maintained constant communication throughout the entire process. Had issues with my bathroom toilet and tub for years that I thought would not get resolved after going through multiple people for help. Kit was the one who figured it out, and I couldn't be more grateful to him for it and I know who I'll be contacting in the future. read more

I noticed I had a leaking shutoff valve under my toilet, looked on yelp for plumbers and noticed Plumbing and Things had great reviews so i sent a quote request (this was on Friday evening) Kit actually called me back about an hour later. I described what was going on, he told me what the problem most likely was and gave me a price, I agree because it was a good price. He was able to come out the next morning, he was on time , very professional and was very nice. The problem was exactly what he said it was, he completed the job and even cleaned up the area. The price was what he said no add ons and no surprises. I definitely would recommend calling Kit and getting Plumbing and Things for any job you may have. read more

It's my second time using them. First time Kit fixed garbage disposal that I thought needed to be replaced at a fraction of the cost. That's when he earned my trust. This time I called for a faucet installation and I needed someone who know what he's doing. I was worried that gold finish could be scratched during installation. It turned out even better then expected. Completely happy with service. read more

What a great experience. I messaged him and he got back to me right away with a quote to fix a running toilet. He came the next day, on a weekend, and fixed it right away. He was so nice to my wife and I and updated us throughout. Definitely will call him again when we need plumbing help. read more

You can 100% trust this company. Fair prices, fair service and the owner is there to help, not to gouge you like other companies that told me I had to replace my disposal. Feel free to call other companies like I did, but this one is best. read more

I first used Kit's service Dec 2022 when a water supply connector of our basement hot water heater was leaking and needed to be replaced. It was a small job and they were very efficient. 2 Friday pm ago, another connector cracked again and we could not make it to the property. Kit went over to check and planned to fix the crack for us on Saturday. But, the leak totally damaged the electric components, so on Monday, Kit installed a brand new water heater with all new fittings to ensure no more of connector cracking or leaking in future. His team did a fine professional job, charging a reasonable price (with inflation, everything cost more than before), explaining everything and sending me a few pictures along the way. A week later, I was able to make it to the property and saw their fine work. He left no mess for us to clean even though we were not there to witness the job. The are professional and dependable. I would use Kit's service for all our plumbing needs in future. read more

We were having a problem with our bathroom sink and laundry sink. Kit came in and fixed the sink so quick. Then he diagnosed the laundry sink and told us how to do it ourselves. He didn't charge as the fix was so menial but i was still so grateful as he came all the way for us. We know nothing about plumbing so felt a little embarrassed but he didn't judge! Will definitely be in touch again if we have real problems. Thanks again :) read more

Very quick response time and pleasant to work with! They came the very next day and my leak was resolved within 2 hours

Kit and his team are wonderful to work with. We needed a new water heater to be installed within a difficult, small location within our house, and we were debating whether or not we could use a tankless water heater. Prior to the appointment, Kit texted with me back and forth over my options and answered all of my questions, and in the end we realized a traditional water heater made the most sense. Kit and his team then arrived right on time for the appointment (I feel like that is a rarity with many contractors these days), and he was incredibly respectful and communicative. He noticed that I didn't have shoes on in our house and we had a shoe rack with shoes lined up on it, and so he asked if we normally don't wear shoes in our house and offered to take his shoes off. I was so shocked and grateful since I've never had a contractor be that considerate before! Not only did he do a great job removing our old water heater and installing a new one, but he also cleaned up afterwards and put everything back the way it was. He truly was a pleasure to work with, and I'm grateful to have a plumber whom we know we can trust to communicate as needed throughout the process and can do great, professional work. Thanks again! read more
