I had them come out to fix a leaky toilet And put in new parts. I found him to be rude and condescending shortly after they came out it was still leaking . told me debri can get caught and cause the problem .i should not have to clean out debris. It was ok for a couple months. Started leaning again . Didn't want to deal with his rudeness again calling me suspicious untrusting . You don't tell a customer that and if I have a problem I want it fixed correctly . So I called Mchales . He was very though checked everything out was very nice and replaced once again the parts . Cleaned out my toilet bowel and so far all is quiet . Paid additional money because it was not done right the first time With Barney plumbing . We recently purchased and moved into our home that had some significant plumbing leaks. After trying to fix/rebuild our old fixtures, Matt walked us through all our replacement options and price points to resolve the issue. He also looked at our other shower to see if our leak there was a plumbing or tile issue (it was the latter). We opted to upgrade our fixture and Barry had us scheduled for the following week. Steve Barner and Tommy Errico were on site by 10 with a new tank from Trenton warehouse and hot water was back by 10:57! I had used this plumber for 5 years. The last time I used them was for a dripping tub faucet. They came and after 15 minutes put in a new valve and charged standard price of $185. After a few months, it began dripping again. When I contacted them, I was told they don't guarantee their work on older bathrooms (40 years old). When I hired a new plumber service, the owner showed me the valve they put in: it was a knock off. He showed me the correct Moen valve that should have been installed. Thus, I ended up spending another $200 to have the work done correctly. I filed a complaint against Barner Murphy and they blew it off; did not even respond. SO, JUST BE AWARE; BARNER MURPHY USES KNOCK OFF PLUMBING SUPPLIES, AND DOES NOT GUARANTEE THEIR WORK. read more

I don't understand all these 5-star reviews. I left 2 voice messages last month and no one ever called back. I needed the faucets replaced in my shower, a service that Barner Murphy's website says they do: "Faucet and fixture repairs & replacement." Even if they were on vacation, even if they were busy and couldn't get to me for a while - It makes good sense for a business to at least touch base with a potential customer. read more
