I called this Mavis location (Sinking Spring, PA), and they told me to bring the car over. They got me in almost immediately, removed the damaged piece so I could safely drive the car, and explained exactly what I needed to do to get it properly repaired. When I asked how much I owed, they told me there was no charge. What they probably saw as a quick favor was a huge act of kindness to me. Life has been throwing a lot at me lately, and they took this problem that could have been the last straw for me, and they made it disappear. They were patient, helpful, professional, and genuinely kind. Customer service is one thing. Human kindness is another. Yesterday, this team gave me both, and I am incredibly grateful. Thank you for helping me when I really needed it. I'll remember it for a long time.

This was just 2 hours after they set up appt on phone. A simple call to reschedule would be warranted for customer service - but this did not happen. They however scheduled me at noon the next day and claimed I would be a priority. What happened was similar result. After one hour of waiting I approached manager to find out it would be at least another hour. They are back to their old management style - no customer support. I spent nearly four hours of my time trying to get a simple service and paid for gas on two trips to shop only to walk out with NO SERVICE!

A lot of people get their feelings hurt with people like this, but it is business, and there is no emotion in business. I was extremely happy with the work they did, as well as the communication they gave me. Some people nowadays just need to learn to be patient to be called back. I would gladly give them my business anytime. They also recommended somebody to do the work they couldn't and I appreciated that as well. They also have a key drop, which is very helpful. I handed them problems with a 1990s Dodge Caravan and Ford Taurus that should have ended with either of them towed to a scrap yard. Anyone else would have given up. Greg knew that my family was on a budget and we were not in a position to buy, so he was honest about what HAD to be done, what SHOULD be done, and how much it would cost just to keep us safe and legal. He made sure to keep our bill managable and explained problems to us in simple English. All the work was done promptly and correctly. The few times there were delays, someone was on the phone to me with updates. Whenever someone takes their vehicle in on our recommendation, I hear the praise down the line that Hannold's is their new trusted mechanic shop.

I've parked in the same spot every single day for the past two years with no issues. I got home from work around 8 PM, parked as usual, and when I went outside at 8 AM to leave for work, my car was gone. They towed my vehicle 10 miles away and then charged me $300 to get my own car back. The person who claimed to be the manager was extremely rude during the entire interaction. He told me my car was towed because my permit "wasn't shown," even though it absolutely was. He also admitted they towed another car because the permit was "hidden," which tells me they are not even properly checking for permits before towing people's vehicles. When I questioned their pricing, he said that if I needed a tow from the side of the road it would be a "different rate," but refused to tell me what that rate even is. Completely sketchy and suspicious behavior. The fact that they can't or won't provide the standard roadside tow rate raises more concerns about the legitimacy of the $300 charge. I also asked for an itemized receipt and proof that my permit supposedly "wasn't there," and they refused to provide either. That alone says everything about how they operate. This was completely unnecessary, stressful, and expensive--especially when my permit was visible the whole time. Their behavior shows a lack of care, professionalism, and accuracy when towing from residential areas.
