What's most frustrating is that there was no real accountability or effort to make up for the inconvenience. Wedding dress shopping is supposed to be a meaningful experience. Better communication and basic organization are the bare minimum in this industry.

After all the pins were attached for the alternations we were told that it will be almost another $1000 for alternations and btw payment should be in cash.... They are not forthcoming and having to pay cash sounded slightly weird. We decided to just take the dress and find a reasonable seamstress elsewhere. When picking up the dress it was handed to us with a bad attitude, letting us know all the pins were removed. Uncalled for after spending thousands of dollars on a dress at this store. I bought several dresses online and the one I thought I wanted is beautiful but too long. It is beaded and I was worried it would take more than a week to hem it so I planned on going to a seamstress in Union that I normally use. I planned on taking all of the dresses with me so that I could get her advice on which one was the easiest and cheapest to fix, given my timeline. As I looked for the address of the seamstress I normally use, I found Sandra's name on Google. When I saw her great reviews and her proximity to me, I called her and was immediately impressed. She had me come right over, and we discussed the alterations that would be needed on the dress I thought I preferred. Although she could do the work within a week, she helped me realize it was a better value to wear a different dress that didn't need alterations, which saved me money. She took her time to help me, even thought it didn't result in her providing me an alteration! She helped me in one other way - the dress I will end up wearing is too short for the heels I already have, so I was going to have to buy new shoes. Sandra also carries shoes for sale, much to my surprise. I ended up purchasing a great pair of low-heel sandals for only $99 - much cheaper and much better quality than what I was seeing online. I am really happy to have met Sandra and to have her now as my trusted seamstress. She says she can also alter non-formal wear, so I will be taking my business suits and dresses to her and sending my husband to her as well. Thank you, Sandra!

Stacie accommodated us with a last minute appointment today since two of us are from out of state. The moment we walked in we were in instant awe of the selection of dresses. The original appointment was for Bridesmaids dresses, but the bride ended up choosing her wedding gown! Stacie's level of customer service is second to none. She was wonderful and so helpful. Made my sister and all of us feel very special. She carries so many gorgeous designers and timeless dresses. We ended up choosing the bride, MOTB, Junior Bridesmaid, flower girl and bridesmaids dresses! It was such a special day and Stacie truly added to the memory of this experience. I do truly believe it was a beautiful end product, but definitely some issues along the way…read more 1. We ordered both our save the dates and our invites from there. We receive our invites and all is well, but after later comparing to the save the dates, the fonts are different shades of green. I was looking to keep things uniform and definitely a little disappointed. The save the date is a lot darker than the invite. 2. None of the items stayed closed in the mail. They gave us glue for the save the dates, which didn't hold and many arrived open. Our invites came with stickers that you peeled, and those didn't stay closed either. I made a comment after the save the dates and was told not to worry about it for the invites, but it happened again. Not sure if the card stock of the envelopes was too heavy or what. 3. The amount of typos on our proof was insane. I had to kick it back so many times. Celebration and celebratory were missing the letter R. There were words without spaces between them. The names of towns (in NJ) were spelled wrong. I'm not saying people don't make mistakes, but with the amount the invites cost, I shouldn't be having to comb through every single word to make sure common wedding words like celebration are spelled correctly. I will not take away from LBDP producing a beautiful end product and from being easy to work with, I just don't think it was worth it and we went in another direction for our day off signage.
