I opted for a Gel-X set, which is advertised online for $75. I received gel polish and had my cuticles trimmed, and I was ultimately charged $142. When I asked about the significant price difference, I was told that gel was an additional charge and that I was charged extra for a manicure because my cuticles were trimmed. (Which is crazy since they didn't cure the polish all the way and cut me while cutting my cuticles). I find this very misleading. Gel polish on a Gel-X set seems like a standard part of the service, so I was surprised to learn that it would nearly double the advertised price. If there are additional charges, I believe they should be clearly communicated to the client before the service is completed. Unfortunately, the quality of the service was also disappointing. Several of my nails looked as though they already had a week's worth of growth, and multiple nails were noticeably crooked. I did ask my technician to correct some of them, but they still were not even. There was also *uncured polish* left on my nails, which made the is highly dangerous and can leave you developing an allergy to polish. Even more concerning, just four hours after having the set done, one of my nails completely popped off ripping off some of my natural nail with it. My nail has had a pulse ever since. I've had great experiences here in the past, which makes this particularly disappointing. However, between the unexpected pricing and the quality of the service, I will not be returning. I would strongly recommend making pricing and additional charges much more transparent to clients and ensuring that services are completed with better attention to detail and quality control.

Upon…read moresigning up, I asked if there was a notification period necessary to not have my membership auto-renew come January 2025 (as I knew I was moving). They confirmed I was only locked into the membership for 12 months upon the commencement date. In November of 2024, I had my last appointment with them, and AGAIN confirmed there was nothing needed on my end to not renew. My tech at the time told me I was good to go and that the monthly charges would stop in January 2025. It is now June of 2025 and I continue to have monthly charges on my credit card for a membership I was assured would not auto-renew, and that I have not received any services for in now over a year. I have tried contacting them dozens of times and have to now resort to leaving this review to get them to acknowledge and (hopefully) remediate this issue. I encourage anyone signing up for a membership to act with caution as this has been a headache to try and resolve.
