And of course he charges for wire he charges for the little clips just like home Depot charges for the wire just like home Depot charges for the little clips in the world would you think is for free? I just don't understand why anybody would think that a business would stay open by giving stuff away for free? Now most places don't let you use their tools this guy will let you use his tools so will you wish stuff for free no without your waste of it free hell no. if it's my business I wouldn't give away anything for free I wouldn't even let my tools out but this guy's nice enough tools out to complete your system or work on whatever you have great place to shop great quality top of the brand named items. 5 stars all day!

There are plenty of other places around town willing to charge you an arm-and-a-leg for things you don't need. But, if you're looking for high quality service at a very reasonable price as I was, you have definitely found the right place. Joe and his wife are the two most pleasant people you could ever hope to work with. They listen carefully to the work you want done and/or the electrical problem(s) you need fixed and provide exactly those services. They do not try to convince you to do things you do not need or do not need to pay for like other places do. Joe is experienced and knowledgeable, taking in my 60's era classic car installing a new in-dash Retro Sound radio with two rear under deck speakers and a replacement center speaker. He treated my classic car with kid gloves and I could not have been happier when I went to pick it up. He also took a look at my "oh, by the way my horn does not work" issue and took care of that, too. Joe quoted me a very, very fair price, did not try to upsell me and did the work exactly as I wanted done, plus completed everything in the timeframe he said he would. I will never waste my time and especially not my hard earned money with other shops, rather bring all my electrical work to Stereo Joe.

Unfortunately, after the installation, I discovered that most of it wasn't working correctly. The backup camera wasn't connected at all, and when I reached out for help, the installer stopped responding. At that point, I was out the money I had paid--including a tip--and had to find someone else to fix it before moving across the country. One of the main reasons I purchased this system was for safety during my cross-country drive. Since the Bluetooth phone connection wasn't working, I was forced to hold my phone against my chest under my seatbelt while driving--not safe and certainly not legal. To make matters worse, several installers refused to even look at my Android-based unit. They told me those systems are usually installed incorrectly and rarely work properly. Thankfully, they were wrong. I took my car to Custom Car Concepts, and from the moment I arrived, the experience was completely different. Mike got me in right away, properly installed the backup camera, and made sure everything else was working exactly as it should. Did I have to pay to have it fixed? Of course. But the price was more than reasonable, and the work was completed quickly and professionally. To say I was impressed--and relieved--would be an understatement. This is absolutely the place to go if you need car audio or electronics work done correctly. I can't thank Mike and the team enough for helping me out when I really needed it.

Just not a good experience. I do not know much (really not anything at all) about car stereo…read moresystems. I came in explaining I need help in what to do with a classic car I just purchased in which I had professionally installed all new gauges and even an entirely new dashboard. It was a fresh start as I had a brand new opening in a brand new dash for just begging for a brand new radio to be installed. The same for all the speakers which I had all removed so there were open places, again, just waiting for new ones to be installed. Again, I came in at ground zero wanting a fresh start asking for advice on what I need, a recommendation for all new components that meets my listening needs and a quote. I got only the quote. The pricing was extremely high and I had no understanding of why each component was recommended, therefore what value it had. Nothing was written out and I could only keep up with and remember half of what was spinning through my brain. I am sure the employees are very good at what they do, but unless you already know all the nomenclature, slang and have extensive knowledge of stereo systems, you will probably leave saying "let me think about it" and never return . . . as I did. What a shame as I do truly believe this company has the knowledge and experience.
