My elderly mother found this company online and figured they were a reputable business, she had a…read morerefrigerator that wasn't staying cold and she assumed the thermostat needed fixed. They came out and charged $120 for a service call, and said he took Cash App, Venmo or cash, and then told her she needed a part that cost $286.79 and said he would return. He did NOT return and she had to call them repeatedly and finally got ahold of what I assume was the "boss" he said he needed the money for the part before he would come out, she sent the money. A week goes by and she hears nothing, almost another week goes by and she calls them back again, and asks when they were coming back because her refrigerator was not being able to be used. She finally asked to just be refunded for the part because nothing was fixed and he ghosted her. So she was ripped off almost $300.00 and nothing was done. She had to call another repair service and pay for the part again. I wouldn't recommend these scam artist to my worst enemy. USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

Bill & Rod's delivers good customer service, sales experience, and repair service! I've recently…read moreused both their installation and repair services and can say that the techs know their stuff! Plain spoken, respectful and competent. Great admin experience too. With the exception of the person at the scheduling phone, who seems to never be there, I can usually reach someone with questions. And they are helpful. The products they sell are........well.......the products of today. These are not the reliable, affordable, and fixable appliances of the past. I've even had the mighty Bosch fall apart due to cheap plastic parts. Dishwasher flooded my kitchen! Aside: How do I interpret the fact that my new Kitchen Aid Dishwasher COMES WITH a water leak alarm? A thoughtful precaution or an admission of the inevitability of product failure? My Mom's old dishwasher was 15 years old and never leaked! So, we cross our fingers, sigh at the prices, and hope that it won't fail in 2 years. That said, I appreciate having Bill & Rod's additional warranty beyond the basic one from the manufacturer's. My best guess is that it will be worth it. I've given up on the big-box stores for major appliances. Very cheap products, little customer concern, incompetent admin service, and unresponsive technical service. How about you? Got any experience with those stores? Long story short, Bill & Rod's is doing what they can to preserve a modicum of the old-school experience. We do live in the economy that surrounds us.

How could a repairman put a dirty vent back on without telling me it without vacuuming? For this reason I won't call for service again.
