What has made this experience even more frustrating is that while I was explaining my concerns over the phone, the employee I spoke with chuckled during the conversation. Whether intentional or not, it came across as dismissive and unprofessional given the situation. I have used this location in the past because it is convenient and I have generally trusted their service. However, this experience has left me questioning that decision. Had I known my phone would be damaged during the repair and that the resolution would take nearly a week, I likely would have chosen another repair provider, even if it cost more. Now that is a very personal touch. They also were able to transport me back and forth for 2 days with no hassle. Now for some amazing news is that for 1 trip they were short handed but out came a guy named Paul who was very friendly in our conversation on the way to the shop. In the process I found out that he is the owner. No wonder everyone was so friendly and professional as the basis was established by the owner. I thought it was so cool to be greeted by my first name as I entered the super clean waiting area. The waiting area was as clean as any doctor's waiting room and the background music was outstanding.
