I stopped by to see if they had and Jordan Jumpman brand items like they sell on line! Sadly to say unless I overlooked it there was not one piece of clothing that displayed the jumpman Jordan brand, not one!!!.. I didn't even see any of the Jordan retro sneakers that they display on line either! I even put it a raffle for a pair of 11 Jordan Gama, size 11 on line but yet they didn't have not one pair of Jordan retro to sell.. Maybe I'm missing something but that seems like false advertising if you have stuff on line but nothing in store? Maybe I came at a bad time,I will not rule that out but this sure is a disappointment in my opinion! Will I return you ask? Sure, but only if I see what I'm looking for in store first!!..

I downloaded the Dick's app to make online purchases. I received a confirmation order number along…read morewith my receipt detailing the amount I paid and the items I ordered. I placed my order by 3 PM and opted for in-store pickup, registering my number for text updates regarding my order. However, I did not receive any text notifications. I then returned to the Dick's app to chat with their AI assistant. I inquired about my order and when it would be ready for pickup, and the AI indicated that it would be ready within two hours. By 7 PM, I still had not received any updates, so I decided to call the store. When I spoke to a Dick's employee about my order, they were unable to locate it and went to fetch their manager, Averie. Upon speaking with Averie, I provided her with my order number and mentioned that I had not received any text messages, inquiring about the status of my order. She informed me that she had not received my order. I asked her why, given that I placed my order online at 3 PM. She patiently listened and requested a few minutes to contact their tech support to determine why my order had not been received. Less than 10 minutes later, Avery called me back to inform me that their system was down, causing delays in processing online orders. She mentioned that I could expect an email by 10 PM notifying me when my order was ready. I agreed to wait. The next day, I called again around 1 PM, and fortunately, Averie answered the call. I informed her that I had not received the email. She asked if she could call me back while she contacted headquarters to find out why my order had not been processed. I was grateful that she was able to handle this herself, as I wouldn't have known where to start. I also appreciated Averie's assistance during my calls; receiving answers from a human is much more reassuring than an automated AI response. Ultimately, I was able to visit the store on Sunday and purchase the bicycle.

I purchased a pair of shoes and upon getting home and putting them on and walking around the house, I found that they were a bit too small, so back to the store we went a few hours later for the simplest exchange I have ever made. Will shop at the Shoe Dept. again.

Parking is very easy at this mall which is a bonus. The store is directly in the center of the mall across from Toll House Cookies. Over the Summer we have looked here, but never found sizing etc. However, all the displays are tidy...yes outdated a bit to. The store is clean and presents well. Customer service has been terrific when trying on shoes as well. Five pair of shoes were purchased, but all were from the Lynnhaven store due to sizing/style limitations. I would recommend giving them a try, especially if you are in the area any way. They may have limitations on sizing/styles, but the customer service makes up for it. More like a 3.5, but I can't quite get them to a 4.

For both visits, they went very smooth. Finding my selections was no problem at all. The staff always welcomed Sophia and I during our two visits and were willing to help any way they could. The process didn't take long for me to select two pairs of shoes to my liking. And Sophia purchased a pair the 2nd time we were there. Checking out was definitely a breeze with staff and was seamless. There's not really much to add except that I was very pleased with the experience. This place still holds up and will be used again the next time we need shoes. Till next time :)

HOWEVER the one star is to the old lady working there who thought it was okay to parent my children???? I was checking out, mind you no one else in the store that you could see and the register lady was being really nice. My 8 year old started out rough with the wheel- I get it. I told him to stop and he did. his TWO year old brother who could barely spin it started trying it and as im giving my email this lady had thenerve to direct my children sternly???? excuse me? I didnt say anything and her badge of her name was hidden so I dont even have a name. HOWEVER that wheel is kid height- they did nothing but spin it and you talk ugly to my children???? Especially to my TWO year old who is just trying to get it to spin in the first place. Then when she walked around the counter and before i cohld even take a step my TWO year old tried again and she caught an atridue in her face towards him. will be going out of my way to go somewhere else and telling my clients and friends/family to do the same because who do you think you are talking to children you dont even know like that? Especially when they arnt doing anything wrong.

I have been to every shoe store in the tidewater area and have met with less than unsatisfactory service. New Balance was the last place I had yet to try and did so on 8/12/25. My family and I walked in and was greeted immediately and asked if there was anything I was looking for. I went there looking for a particular shoe that they offer but they did not have in stock. Nick, was the gentleman that assisted us and I explained my situation and he knew exactly what I was talking about and started to educate me on the shoes they offered that could help my condition. I tried in several pairs as we talked about hip-hop and how the music has changed over the years. I finally settled on pair. Out of all the places I've visited, this was the only place that listened to me and understood my problem. They weren't trying to sell me a shoe, rather a solution and it was worth it to wear that pair out of the store and finally walk on my own without the help of a walking boot. I will definitely be back and will always recommend this store and Nick.
