Exceptional knowledge from front office to electrician, quick timely service, affordable pricing…read more In our rental property in Carefree San Carlos we were having issues with 1 outlet handling the dishwasher and the garbage disposal. We weren't sure if we needed an additional dedicated circuit in our breaker or just an extra dedicated outlet. The front desk representative already had two possibilities and recommendations in mind. She sent out the electrician and thankfully it was just another outlet. That was $200 versus $1,000+ They called, told us the price, and sent the invoice the next day. Super quick, super accurate, great team and company. Highly recommend.

So. Surprised by answering the phone right away, by a human was going in the right direction. This was already about 3:30 pm. The field rep was still on three calls. However I agreed to wait till 8:30am next day. Ok. Actually received a call that they would be a little late. Ok. No problem. Father Son team. How awsome is that!? Told them what my unit was doing he knew right away. 10 minutes later done. Cold air coming from the vents!!!!! Yaaay. Wasn't an arm and a leg. Very doable. Shock setting in. Paid by check and they were gone. They were clean, professional and very polite. I gave all my neighbors their info.

And the timing couldn't have been worse, given that in another couple of weeks we are expecting scorching San Diego summer days once again. Yet, as serendipity would have it, we chanced upon a Yelp ad for RPM Heating and Air Conditioning (ph . 619.201.8608/ Lic 1078785). To summarize our experience, the office administrator for this company was kind and responsive. The appointment for the HVAC tech team was scheduled ASAP, for the same day. And the time and effort required for the repair were quick and top-notch. THESE GUYS ARE THE REAL DEAL. Our AC unit is back in service, and the uncertainty of struggling through the coming hot summer days here in East County is now a distant concern. We wholeheartedly recommend Robert P. and his family-owned business to take care of your HVAC needs. Add their contact information to your short list for all your A/C needs. Thanks for taking the time to review my ramblings. Cheers!

Ok, I have given them five stars in the past, referred them to many people, have used him 3 times…read morein the past, but yesterday I was surprised that I was charged $140 just to swap out a nozzle that took five minutes. Now, he did have to go to the store for the part (15), and I guess $105 for the base charge of visit is normal (?), but $20 for "truck" charge? Since when do you get charged for gas? He never did this before. And, when he spent almost an hour taking out my water filter under my sink, he charged me less than this five minute swap of faucet. Work is great, price not so much anymore. He told me he had driven to Rancho Bernardo before me and the client refused to pay for the house call and was complaining about the gas to get there and back for nothing. Was he making up gas charge on me, who lives four miles from him? You will see my glowing references in the past. But as a senior living on Social Security, and the fact it took five minutes to do, I think $140 was outrageous. This was double than my last visit by him. Disappointed. Great work, but I can't afford him anymore. And can't refer him as being reasonable anymore either. Should have listened to my neighbor and used his handyman. Wish him well, nice guy, but adios. AND he says senior discount. I will be 80 my next birthday. I did not see any discount on my invoice.
