Canady's Heating Air & Plumbing

The first call to this company made the ultimate decision for my family. They were compassionate…read moreand concerned about not having a working AC in 90 degree plus weather. They were prompt in coming to the initial appointment to assess the issue then they were able to have the new systems in place immediately with only a few hours of turnaround between the assessment appointment which was the next day. The process was diligent and efficient. The price for two new units were to be as expected; however, it is a necessary expense and one that I was willing to invest in for peace of mind in the future. I appreciate the after care Canady's provides as well to ensure that the customer is satisfied. They will also do a follow check in about two weeks which lets me know they care about the quality of their services and are willing to stand by their name. They did not leave a mess and everything is in working order which I am very happy.

Disappointing Experience with Canady Heating & Air…read more I am very disappointed with my experience. I was given an appointment for July 20th and rearranged my entire day to be available. While I understand that HVAC companies become extremely busy during periods of extreme heat, communication and respect for a customer's time are still essential. By approximately 1145hrs, I had not received any updates, so I reached out using the text number I was provided. I did receive a response around 1200hrs and it came from a different number simply stating that I was still on the schedule and technicians would be working until 2000hrs. The issue isn't just the long service window it's the lack of meaningful communication. By 1700hrs, I still had no estimated arrival time. If a technician were to call at 1900hrs and arrive close to 2000, it raises a legitimate question: would there really be enough time to properly inspect, diagnose, and discuss a complex HVAC issue? A thorough evaluation shouldn't feel rushed at the end of a long workday. If a company is overbooked, it's better to be honest with customers and reschedule rather than ask someone to reserve an entire day with little or no communication. Customers have jobs, families, and other responsibilities, and their time deserves the same respect as the company's schedule. I chose Canady Heating & Air because they came highly recommended, so this experience was especially disappointing. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend them. Better communication, realistic scheduling, and greater respect for customers' time would go a long way toward improving the overall service experience. Update: Immediately after this review, I received a text from the first number 1722hrs stating: "***** Canady's Heating, Air, and Plumbing: You are currently our technician's next appointment. You will receive text updates and a call or text when the technician is in route to your home. Please call the office with questions 912-756-6688 or text YES to confirm. Our working hours are: 8:00am - 8:00pm (M-F) 8:00am - 6:00pm (SAT)*****" This is a knee jerk response and there services will not be utilized.

Dalton has come to my house a couple times for various plumbing needs, but this time was for…read morereplacement of a failed water heater. I had done extensive research and purchased the specific water heater I wanted vs them installing one off their truck. I also wanted him to replace a shower mixing valve and toilet supply valve. In my experience with other plumbers, some are weird about customer supplied parts, even if it's the exact thing they work on, but Dalton had zero issues and was eager to take on the job. The appointment was schedule for Monday at 8am and Dalton showed up exactly on time. Everything went as expected and around the same timeline he predicted, except for one thing with the supply line for the toilet. The line I had ordered wasn't going to work, so Dalton ordered a new line, but because he wasn't able to finish that day, he reduced my bill. This was the first unexpected but appreciated thing. The next was that not only did he change out the mixing valve, but he installed the shower handle, as well as noticed the toilet needed some adjustment to the flushing mechanism and made the changes without additional fees. I thought the call out fee for an estimate was a little strange (vs a lot of companies offering free estimates), but don't let that dissuade you from hiring Dalton/PlumbPro. Overall, very impressed with the quality of service and I would highly recommend to anyone.

Quick and professional leak fixed. Made sure to check for other possible leaks in bathroom, ect.read more
