Surprisingly small portion given the price point for their food. It was also not great. There was definitely a strange taste that should not have been there. Great Mexican food spot in downtown bartlett. We have come here for years and enjoy the food and service! I usually order the veggie enchiladas with green and red sauce and it is very good. The only reason I docked a star this time was the the food was a little bland at first. We had to add a lot of sauce to the salsa and guac to enhance the flavor, but other than that great experience. JC's was average. The service was really good. We took seats outside. If you do not want typical Mexican carry out, I do recommend going. I ordered flautus. The shells were extremely hard. I've never had flautus like that. That was my only complaint. We were a party of seven. Everyone else enjoyed their meal. This restaurant is across from the Bartlett metta train station. At night, the exterior of the restaurant is decorated with lights and looks very festive and inviting. The interior ambiance is relaxing, modern and a little whimsical, which is different than other Mexica restaurant I have been to. The staffs are very friendly, and they try to address every guests as quickly as possible. They have gluten-friendly options (can't guarantee cross contamination in the kitchen). There is also a good selection of drinks. Let's talk about the food. It is delicious - flavorful, visually appealing, and light! What I mean by light is that it is not greasy. My family and I stopped into JC's this afternoon, a hot day, when we missed our train across the street. We were disappointed about this. The owner immediately brought us water and free chips and was accommodating to our three small children. The salsa served with the chips tasted a little flat. I loved the presentation of the food! Margarita good too, more reasonably priced than other places. Very nice patio and parking was easy. Very basic interior and is an authentic Mexican restaurant. Separate checks available for 10 people and patio seating thru beginning Nov. to reserve a dine in area for more than 10 people requires a minimum $20 per person purchase. My group size would therefore be limited to 10 people and I do prefer more. I do recommend this place! read more

I don't know what it is about this place, but the services soooo slow. I have been here a few times in hopes that it was a one off. Unfortunately that isn't the case. They are in no hurry at all and don't seem to care if you need something. The food is average, but I just can't go back anymore. On top of that they are very stingy with there condiments. We asked for an extra Salsa and didn't get it. So then we asked the next person for a salsa. They both ended up coming out with one then and got into a private argument about it. The mother ended up taking the salsa from the son and wouldn't let him put 2 on our table. Just weird things like that. I will move on. read more

On a cool Sunday my wife and I stopped for dinner, we have been wanting to go here for years. We each had a drink, red Sangria and a Strawberry Margarita, both were good. The service was spot on, no rush and no delay in getting to us. We sat outside as to enjoy the day, even with a little traffic it was just fine, the noise from next door was a bit much but we just chose to ignore it. The food, we both had pork, my wife had Sopas and I had Enchilada, I chose to have the mole sauce...I was so impressed! The flavors of everything were so good, the server was friendly and took time to talk about the meal with us.
