My hubby and I decided to try this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. I was surprised at how big the restaurant is. The decor is simple but nice. We were greeted right away with a big basket of chips, salsa and two bottled sauces. The chips and salsa are really good! And the salsa is not too spicy. The one sauce is lime. The other a hot sauce. My hubby had the chicken mole with rice, beans and tortillas. Wow the mole was so tasty! I had the shrimp enchiladas. The biggest and most stuffed enchiladas I have ever had. Three big shrimp and tons of cheese in each enchilada covered in a delicious green sauce. The rice and beans are good too. Everything tasted homemade and fresh. We had great service. We have now been to the actual restaurant several times, it's a nice place, pretty large inside. The service can be a bit hit or miss, the last time we waited for someone to get us the check for quite a while. The food usually comes fast, so keep that in mind if you want to enjoy a drink or appetizer first. I usually get the Baja Tacos, they are so good, one of the best fish tacos anywhere. The enchiladas Tricolor is another of my favorite things. I am a big fan of the verde sauce on anything. Its a solid choice, the food is good, the margaritas are good and a nice size. They have an excellent drink menu with quite a few different margaritas. Its a big palace so you don't usually have to worry about waiting to get in. read more

Fantastic restaurant. We arrived on a Saturday early evening and the place was bustling but had plenty of seating available. Lots of parking too. It only got busier as the evening went on. I counted at least 19 TVs on the walls, so definitely a place to watch sports. I loved their sugar skull painting on the wall and their wall of patron at the bar. Definitely had a mex vibe going on. We were brought the chips and salsa and the chips are actually not presented in the typical boring black plastic bowl like a lot of places but in a spiral wire basket with checkered paper and colorful little salsa cups. The salsa tasted fresh and delicious but I will say they could use a little spice. It was pretty mild. There are lots of selections for food including house specials and the typical tacos, enchiladas, burritos, tostados type of choices. Prices seemed typical for dinner and portions are amply sized. They have a separate alcohol menu too full of options. We ended up ordering two dinners for three people and felt very full afterwards. They offer a smoky spicy chipotle red sauce or a limey tangy green sauce which we mixed into the salsa to give it a little kick. I ordered the traditional enchiladas meal and when it came out, it was presented very nicely but most importantly, it tasted great. Even the rice and beans were so good. I savored every bite. The other dish we got was the tacos. Also beautifully present and just as tasty. The service was impeccable! We were well attended too and our waitress always had a great smile. Even when you pay your bill, they have the capability to scan a QR code and pay so you don't have to wait. I thought the restaurant was great and will recommend to others. We had dinner here on February 2nd 2026. Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience due to our waitress. From the moment we were seated, she was rude and dismissive. She laughed at me when I ordered my 10 yr old a kids meal like I was trying to get a cheap meal for an adult. She took our food order before she offered to order drinks for our table. The food itself was ok we enjoyed it as much as we could. She came with our bill and on there was a 20% tip included for a table of 4, when i questioned it she gave me an attitude and so I asked to speak with a manager and was told he was off for the day. It's like the waitress can treat customers like shit because she is still getting her 20% tip since its automatically charged on the receipt no matter the size of the party! What I enjoy here the most is always the drinks. I've tried a variety of drinks here, everything I've tried has been delicious. I also really enjoy the fish tacos here, the fish is crispy with a good sauce. Some of the other dishes here can be hit or miss for example the Elote was pretty disappointing. Garbage. The food and service was so disappointing. I've been wanting to go here for someone cause it's local. I ordered a burrito and instead of meat (since I'm a vegetarian) I asked for avocado. The server said no and that she would have to charge me. I said that's okay, thinking my burrito would have beans and other items. My burrito was so empty and I was charged the same as burrito filled with meat. Then I asked if I could just a few more chips cause that's all that my son was eating not even a basket and was told no. I mean I've never had this issue at other places in the area cause I think they understand that I don't have many substitution options. I could have make the food at home tbh. With all the recent hype in Bartlett about this new restaurant, and my husband and I being the self-proclaimed King and Queen of Mexican food, we HAD to give this place a try. And what better day than Taco Tuesday! My husband and I perused the limited menu currently available due to COVID-19, and after much debate we decided on our order. He called and placed our order with a very nice woman over the phone, no issues at all and our order would be ready in 20 minutes. My husband is the taco man, so he ordered a 4 steak taco dinner Mexican style (because there's no other way to eat a taco). For some reason his order came with two sides of rice and no beans, which honestly is something he typically does but he was bummed he couldn't try their beans (Yeah, I don't share very well). He said the tacos were good but what would make them great is 1) more meat in the taco, 2) shells that weren't so greasy, and 3) allow mix and match of tacos in a meal. But, no reason to write off this place because 1) it was half priced taco Tuesday and 2) were in the middle of a pandemic causing businesses to operate a bit differently. I ordered the classic enchiladas with chicken. The rice and beans are great, the enchilada sauce was BOMB, and I also wish they were a bit more beefed up. But I would certainly order again, just no cheese on top because that's my own personal preference. I did order a side of mole to try (I'm picky with that too), but they must have forget so I'll ask for it next time. I also had the 'already famous' grilled pineapple margarita... SOOO yummy! The salsas are also fantastic! The prices are all fair and align with most restaurants. I think this place is doing a great job, especially considering they are brand new and opened during a pandemic. Mucho kudos!! First time, Wednesday 7:30, drinks and service were great. The place is spacious and looks great inside. The reason for the 3 instead of 5 stars is they had two types of loud music going on at the same time. Just sounded like a hot mess and torturous. The server said music on the tv is different than the music in the other room which doesn't really make sense to me. I love bachata, salsa, reggaeton etc. but when you have two types of Latin music blasting at the same time it's like nails on a chalkboard. It was refreshing to have great service and great food in one experience. We had lunch on the outdoor front patio. Our server was very friendly and attentive. She also gave great entree suggestions. Then they advise that bar already was cleaned so only bottled beer and no drinks in a glass. Turned all the light off except the front lights. It was so bad yet so comical. I am so excited to see fun places in Bartlett! The food was delicious and the drinks were even better! The margaritas are $10 each and use fresh fruit and not the syrup garbage (definitely try the roasted pineapple!) They have a patio open with adequate space between tables. There was a live DJ on Thursday night who played great music. He did not BLAST music either- It was a decent volume and you could still hear everyone at your table! I have to say that this place has been a big disappointment. Went for pickup on Cinco and this place was overwhelmed. The food pickup receptionist would disappear for long spans of time, leading to mass confusion of all the other people waiting to pick up food, which were numerous (+10). After ONE HOUR of having placed my order, I still hadn't received my food. With no one to ask about status and no end in sight to this ordeal, I left since it was already dinner time and I had a hungry pack back home patiently waiting. But bad planning on arguably their busiest day is not the reason for the bad rating. I called the day after requesting a refund. They acknowledged they had a number of other refund requests and I was told the manager would call me back when they came in later that afternoon. The call back never came. Most successful businesses will acknowledge when their service doesn't meet expectations. "One Taco" apparently doesn't seem to subscribe to this philosophy. read more

I had the tamale dinner, and my wife had the enchiladas classic, both generous portions and very tasty. I had the La Catrina Margarita (skinny) one of the best margaritas I have ever had.
