    'Grease Bomb' Pastor
    J P P.

A one-of-a-kind Pastor Burrito. Been here before... Stop in and watch these guys sling the greasiest tacos around and pack a 'Grease Bomb' Burrito like no other! It takes a lot of practice to pull this shit off day after day...

Chicken and steak tacos with what the cook wasn't able to scrape off of the taco when he made them wrong.

Tried this place for the first time after some family said it was amazing. Went through the drive thru. Ordered a taco dinner with 1 chicken, 2 steak. Avocado only please. Mind you, it's extra for avocado. Waited for about 15 min. Got our order, opened the tray, it LOADED with cilantro and onion no avocado. My friend is allergic to cilantro. So, I waited til the guy came back to the window and told him the mixup. He said ok if I can pull around the front. Waited another 10-14 min, maybe. Said thank you and left. I should've checked the food more thoroughly. Got home, and all they had done was scrape off what they could from the top of the taco, and hide it under avocado.. So there was still a noticeable amount of cilantro. Some onions. So my friend couldn't even try the food. Never again. They have no consideration, or concern for food allergies. And the guy taking orders kept giggling. This wasn't funny. I wouldn't recommend or try this again.

Ehhhhh had kind of a blah experience here tonight. Decided to go back for the second time to try a chimichanga (my go-to thing at Mexican places). I ordered it to go and asked if I could get it suizo style and the lady just flat out said no. At first I thought she didn't understand me so I repeated myself. Suizo. Changed it to suiza. Cheese on top? She still said no, "that's only for burritos." Okaayyyyy... Anyway, the chimi was OK. HUGE, so a great deal for $6.25 and I ate about 1/3 of it and if left me feeling kind of icky. And I'm not someone who is put off by greasy food and I don't have a sensitive stomach for fried foods. Also, there was a little black curly hair (def not mine) in my food. Now I'm also the kind of gal to just pick out a hair and keep eating so it didn't ruin my meal, but it's the principle of the matter. I really don't think I'll be back.

Every time I have been here the place is full. Their drinks are fun. For the designated drivers and angry drunks, I've been told that most all of their signature cocktails can be made into mocktails, so you won't miss out. Their food is delicious. They have a great menu and present food well, considering this is a party bar atmosphere. Not singling out this place, but I agree with the many who complain that street tacos should not be inflated from $2 to $6, just because they are popular now. When it comes to tacos, No Manches saves itself because they have many specialty versions, like ribeye, pork belly, and even cod. In every visit, many people check in on us to make sure we're doing okay, much appreciated. Also, their salsa verde is the best of all three salsas, try to fight me on that.

That said, the live music creates a high-energy vibe, so it's not the best spot for a quiet dinner or for kids. Perfect if you're looking for flavor and atmosphere. Stand outs were the flaming tequila saganaki appetizer, kiddie mocktail options, and tons of hot options like Chile rellenos, tacos, elotes, and burritos. My kids didn't really like the mac and cheese (stating it was tooooo cheesy), but it looked decent and used cavatappi noodles. My $12 carnitas burrito was a great deal and enough for 2 meals. Our $100 bill covered: - a frozen mango margarita (towers, which are equivalent of 5 margaritas, are available too) - cosmo martini - saganaki appetizer lit up table side - elotes tamales - carnitas burrito - 2 kids' meals - complimentary chips and salsa - tax and 20% tip Service was extremely attentive and pleasant! Recommending this to all, and can't wait to go back when in the area! Adios!

I finally found the right time to try this place, being in the mood for a dine-in Mexican dinner…read more It's a nice place with pleasant servers, and kudos to the guy who filled my water 3 times. I was torn between a chicken mole dinner or just good old tacos. I opted for the tacos Al pastor with rice and beans. I have had Al pastor at many, many places, and it's been interesting to see people's takes on the recipes. These were, hands down, the best I've had anywhere. The meat was charred nicely, yet tender. The marinade/sauce had the perfect balance between the sweetness of the pineapple and the counterbalance of the lime, cilantro, and onion. I was so proud of my selection, that I ordered some to-go for my daughter to try. I also had a delicious strawberry margarita and finished off with a tres leches dessert. Everything was superb! I'll be back for that mole someday, and will also try their Taco Tuesday. Judging from my food, as well as the presentations of others choices that I noticed, I believe their chef is seriously talented and creative.

Casa del Pollo Asado that stays open until 9pm. I took that as a good sign and headed that way. The restaurant is pretty big with a good amount of tables and booths. It's counter service with self-serve fountain drinks and salsas. They also have beer for sale. I originally was just going to order an 8 pc of only chicken but since I had driven out I decided to make it worth my while and get the 12 pc meal. They were unfortunately out of corn as a side so I got mashed potatoes and beans. They have big TVs in one section of the dining area and a World Cup match was on. My order was ready in about 5 minutes and I'm happy to say that the roasted chicken was still steaming hot and delicious when I got it all the way back home. The salsas are all very good although I didn't get any pico de gallo because it looked pretty soggy. The beans are good and the fries are fine but the mashed potatoes and gravy could use some revamping. Also, I felt like I we didn't get very many grilled onions or chiles with our order. Those things in combination with the slightly high price is what make me not so confident I'll make the trek back to this Casa del Pollo Asado soon.
