After visiting the UFO International Museum & Research Center, my husband and I, along with our little girl dog (yep leashed dogs are allowed inside), decided to stop by here to purchase some souvenirs. When we came in, we were greeted by the friendly employee behind the counter. Inside, you can find many funny alien shirts that sell for about $20 (prior to tax) a piece, keychains, cups, hats, sweaters, etc. All things you would expect that is mostly alien themed. I ended up purchasing a cute small little keychain that has a few alien charms on it to remind me of my fun visit to Roswell. It was nice to look at some of the funny shirts and all the other random alien things here. I am glad we stopped in.

I took my wife, Annie to the Roswell, NM Location to get her some nice, comfortable shoes for her…read morebirthday. The young woman was pleasant and helpful, and my wife selected an $87 pair of Skechers with air-cooled memory foam. Annie advises that the shoes were very comfortable trying them on and walking around the store, but discovered that, due to their "hands-free/slip-on" construction, there was some firm rubber that goes around the side and back of the heel at the top. This made her ankle sore, so the next time we went to Roswell, we took them with us to exchange for a more comfortable, perhaps a traditional "lace-up" style. And here is where service makes all the difference in customer experience. I have to compliment this location on their young man named Nathan. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. It was clear Nathan went the extra mile to make sure Annie had all the help she needed selecting her replacement pair and she was able to quickly decide on a pair of lace-up Skechers with the same memory foam and special air chamber in the heel. I believe this is called the "Stand on air" model. Annie said, and I quote, "These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn." Nathan was so helpful, I had to write and say something nice about him. It was our first time to see him, so I'm not sure how long he has been at this location, but he kept a very positive demeanor, very helpful attitude. He was really just perfect for what we needed. He processed the return, no problem at all. Whatever they do, they need to hang onto this employee like gold. Make him a manager (if he isn't already) and give him a nice raise. I don't know if I am missing something or I came on a bad day but this is definitely not worth it in my opinion, especially when there are so many other fun things to do close by. When you enter The Alien Zone there is a tiny gift shop in the front and the girl behind the counter was watching a movie on her laptop. We asked for two tickets and paid $17.32. She pointed to the curtain and said "You're fine to go back and check it out. You can touch all of the props and take pictures." Once we walked through the curtain, I thought we were getting pranked. There was a wall full of toys like aliens and rats and spiders but they are all behind netting that has been zip tied together, so you can't touch any of it. Then you see a few displays with aliens that look like they are left over from some old escape room or something. Underwhelming is an understatement. We figured since we had already paid, we might as well try to have some fun, but it is so dark in the room that It's difficult to get a good photo. There are only two rooms and once we got into the second room it got really really warm. At the very end they have a lab coat that you can put on for photo ops I guess but we were literally sweating, so we just left. If you are reading reviews to decide which things are worth doing and which things are not, definitely put this on your not list. The UFO spacewalk is just a block or two away, it's less expensive, and way more fun. There are also plenty of alien photo ops all around the city, including the visitor center, that don't cost a penny.
